Shari's Cafe and Pies, Redmond OR

Food is ok. Similar to a Dennys. This site is struggling due to the lack of help. Excessive slow service when we were there.

Understaffed! Took way too long to get service and food. Ran out of salmon dish? Very disappointed. Going down hill. Was much better a couple of years ago.

Just a great dinner

Ok update.we hear rambling of management and employee issues not being met.
There's one amazing waitress that works here.you lose her, you lose a customer.

Party of 7 arrived at 2 pm. Told it would be 45 minute wait until only cook was off break. We.left a d will not return.

UPDATE - 2 weeks later I tried again. Benefit of the doubt, right? Tonight they greeted me at the door at 6: 45 pm by saying the kitchen is closed. SIX FORTYFIVE? F them, I’ll never go to another Shari’s again in my life.

I’m in Redmond for the week for work. As usual, when traveling for work the days are long. Got back to the hotel about 7: 30pm, washed up and changed clothes to walk (right across the street) to Shari’s for chow. Nope, 7: 45 pm they said the only thing being served was pie, closing at 8.
It’s hard to believe BK was a better option than Shari’s, but on this night it was.

NOT A GOOD ONE TONIGHT.
ITS VERY HIT AND MISS WHEATHER THE FOOD OR SERVICE WILL GOOD.
SERVICE WITH OUR SERVER REBECCA WAS AMAZING.
THE MANAGER WAS VERY DICONECTED AND SHORT.
THE FOOD WELL. LET ME SAY IF YOU PUT BUTTER ON A GOT WAFFLE IT WOULD MELT.
THIS WAS NOT THE CASE TONIGHT BUTTER NEVET MELTED.

Sooooo slow to serve. More than an hour for our dishes to be brought to us. The place did not have many diners. I have no idea why the service was slow.

Awful experience. Waitress greeted us with "we are out of fish and chips,.. " They were out of a lot. Coleslaw! Really? Chicken was extremely dry and non-edible by my 84 y.o. Mother

Family owned! So Sad to see usually family owned business is the best we waited at the door forever. Slow cook grease drenched fries hard bread sitting too long in the window. The waitresses hate their jobs. Terrible service! Terrible food!

I always enjoy Shari's. This trip my phone had died and my charging USB I'm my car blew the fuse! The waitress was amazing and let me charge my phone while I had breakfast. I don't remember her name but she had a following that came in to see her.she is one of the nicest waitresses I have ever had! Thank you for helping a traveler in need.

Nothing new. I expect very little from these restaurants. That way I'm not disappointed when I go there.

We are transporters. And delivered horse trailers in Redmond. Stopped in for breakfast since the hotel did not offer breakfast. Food was really good. The service was great.

We came in at 7: 40pm, 20 minutes before closing and was told the kitchen was already closed. She was sorry but we had to leave. There was 4 of us.

We stood at the front without being greater for several minutes until I asked the cook if there was a server or hostess. We sat at a table near the front and when the server finally came from the back she scowled at us and greeted the people just coming thru the door, seated them and provided menus to them. She walked by us and ignored us. We finally left. Horrible service!

So maps said I should tell you all why I hated this place. I love their pies a little to much. Oregon lottery for entertainment purposes is always fun. Glad there's one on each end of town.

Stopped by to pick up a pie for a friends birthday at 7: 00am on a Thursday when Google said they were open but the doors were still locked, I checked their hours on their door and confirmed they were supposed to be open… I even waited about 15 minutes just in case they were running late. I called later in the day to see if they had ever opened and no one answered.

I came in on June 10 @. 2pm to get lunch. I asked the lady if ordering a salad would take long as I’m in lunch break. It was a salad. She said no, they were too busy. I left and told the three other ladies joining me to go somewhere else. Loss of business for sure. If it takes 45 min to get a salad then there is a real problem! I’m mean his forbid I’d want something cooked. Guess lunch hour is out here! Bad business. Btw, three cars in parking lot at the time. Very disappointed.
