Shari's Cafe and Pies, Newberg OR

Chicken in a quesadilla was hard and overcooked. The chicken noodle soup had two small cubes of chicken in the whole bowl. The windows and inside sills really need a cleaning. The waitress was fine. This was a stop for convenience, but I'd never go back.

Ate breakfast here during our trip from Texas. Super friendly staff, good coffee (was so happy to see a place provide good creamer!) and yummy eggs and pancakes. Hash browns were a little undercooked, but overall we enjoyed our meal. Thanks, y’all!

We ordered breakfast on the app, I went to pick it up, and the forgot to pack my pancakes so I had to go back and this isn't the first time they have forgotten to give me some of my food. I also ordered waffles for my daughter and it had tiny black pieces on her waffles that look like plastic. I also ordered normal hashbrowns and stuffed hashbrowns, they didn't give me my stuffed hashbrown they gave me a normal one, and the hashbrowns were undercooked.

Classic American breakfast place. Don't expect high-quality dishes here.

Food is OK, and the servers really try. But they usually only have 1 server, and the kitchen is not fast. Be prepared to wait a half hour or more for your food. They were also out of things like whipped cream.

I ordered a simple burger and their coleslaw. The burger came with absolutely zero sauce. It's super dry and does not taste great. It weirdly has a slight seafood smell to it? The coleslaw came with no utensil to eat it with and also does not have a good flavor. Wasted money and very disappointed. There were only two people eating inside the restaurant so I know the food wasn't bad because the staff was rushed. The food was just bad because it was badly made with little care for who was going to be eating it.

Good food but only one waitress working so service was at a snails pace took 15 minutes of sitting down to get a glass of water

The other Shari's look a bit old and tired compared to this one. The service was a bit slow, but not bad. The food was above average

The new book Shari's as decent food amazing staff. No matter how shorthanded they are, they are attentive, friendly, and always smiling. Customer service alone is worth a visit.

We went of father's day and were severely disappointed. The food came out stone cold, our coffee cups were empty most of the time and we had to wait 15 mins just to get some water. I get that they're short staffed, but they also have poor management and their staff doesnt seem to work well as a team. Servers and hosts were standing around that could have been helping others. I've worked in restaurants that size where it was me and one other girl and never gave that poor of service.

Idk what changed, but food quality/portioning seems to be slipping. Used to be the best French dip around, now it's not even worth your money

Sitting here right now, its 1125pm on a monday. Got here at 10pm, still Havnt gotten my food. Same as the people around me. Only one waitress and probably one cook. Its busy and they cant handle it. Sharis is trash, only came here because i went to the one in king city and sherwood and they were both closed. Yet those have 24hour signs up.

The chicken raw and then the salmon they overpower with salt and pepper who’s gonna eat that? It was my favorite place to go now it’s not my number one because after we tell them the chicken is raw they just put the same chicken supposed to be cook they send it back for the second time the chicken was still raw how the cook thinks the is good to go. Still had to pay my bill.

The food was so bad. It had a weird chemical taste to it. I would have sent it back but my partner wouldn't let me.
However the waitress was super sweet.

I ordered hot chocolate, waffles, chocolate milk shake, pancakes, and those colliflower bits.
When I got the hot chocolate it was covered with so much whipped cream It almost touched my eyes when taking my first sip. After I got removed the whip cream I was left with a watery drink that had chunks of what I can only assume was hot coco powder. I was then told that they had no waffles. So I ordered pancakes. While I was waiting u was handed a half filled metal container with milk shake, whipe cream, and a load of chocolate syrup. It was topped with a pepper straw and tasted decent. I then waited and my food came. My colliflower bits where cold and my pancakes where moist on the out side but smothered in whipped cream. Oh how they love their whipped cream. The pancakes where ok but not good. The sausage salted like Grease and their eggs where wet dispide me asking for them to be dry.
Lastly the bathroom towel despinser was held up with DUCK TAPE. I should have taken a photo but I wanted to leave so I did.
2/5 stars. When I was younger I remwmber sharis being a wonderful place with a nice menu and wonderful hot chocolate but I am sad to see how far it's fallen.

The French dip sandwich was the worst I ever had. The time wait for the food was very long. There were very few people in there.

I've almost always had great service at this location and today was no exception! Good food, good service, and smiles all around. My wife recommends the sour cream lemon pie shake:)

The south might have waffle house. But they don't have pie shakes.months without pie shakes made my Florida vacation a little bit empty but finally home and that was first thing

They were short-handed, but it didn't show! Our server was kind, attentive, and super quick. The food was great! My son, he is only 10yrs. Old, said he loved our server and that she was so kind.

It's Shari's. The food is alright, but you can always find a seat no matter what time it is and let's face it, you really go to Shari's for the vibes. Pie shakes are incredible.
