Shari's Cafe and Pies, Salem OR

Very poor service waitress dodnt load our loaded baked patatoe soup. Dropped off our dinner and ran when i tasted the tator tots. They tasted like fish no offer to replace remake or give a discount.

Sharis has really gone down hill me and my daughter were watching this cooking show and one of the restaurant owners says this is our fresh: : frozen me and Tara we’re like WTF is that Supposed to mean omg fresh frozen

Great service and a classic selection. I recently visited again and had a phenomenal experience. The Alaskan Salmon was exquisite. The staff was extremely friendly, warm, and receptive. The food appeared like it was conjured out of Harry Potter. This visit is everything I hope to get from a Sharis and I have been thoroughly impressed. Sorry I didn't think of a photo until after I devoured the salmon.

Hit or miss on any combination of service and quality, but we always go back.

Update 9.28.19: I stand by my original review, however as of our last few visits, it's been on the "miss" end of the spectrum. Today's visit had us talking about finding a new place for our bi-weekly planning breakfasts. We were there for over 2 hours with food in front of us for just a half hour. Also, food was obviously sitting for a bit before it was delivered.

Order three meals and one of them was a bowl of oatmeal and came in a 1-inch platter didn't understand how the O Meal was in a platter instead of a bowl for the price they charged and it was cold pancakes with the Mills were about an inch thick they were way over thick Services good the cooking was less adequate in a normal setting.

Service is great in the restaurant but take out or uber orders are constantly missing items and they dont try to fix your order without a fight

A good Shari's. Service was nice. We wend with a group of 18 people. They made decent time getting a large area ready. Food was great. They took care of every part of the group and managed our chaos well. Thanks Sheri's team.

Shari's the perfect place for dining and having a nice breakfast, lunch or dinner with family and/or friends! Shari's itself is a very beautiful and well-kept place, with great decor and furniture all through Shari's. The food itself tastes how it looks, amazing! The menu has so many items to chose from that it's very hard to make up your mind, but no madder what you order, the food always comes out delicious and looking beautiful for Instagram! I definitely recommend Shari's to anyone!

I had a great time the food was good and great service. And to top it all off I put 20$ in one of there lottery machines and won 300$

Both the hostess and the waitress provided great service. But our party of 3 all received still-frozen sour cream-lemon pie, and we only ordered pie and coffee.

Horrible! It was 10pm I'd gone inside to have a piece of pie and when I'd told them from which pie I'd like the packaged it Togo? The place was empty and I asked the gal IS IT OK TO EAT THAT HERE? Geez how rude! No tip for you!

The food was good and a good portion. I took home what i thought to be a pecan pie. It was not a pecan pie. It tasted more like a custard cream pie. Tasted like whip cream with a little caramel. Not happy with the pie.

I had a good dinner food was great and my server was amazing her name was Betty and she was very attentive and sweet I will eat here again.

My husband & i stopped in here late the other night for a cup of coffe after chirstmas shopping and we thought we'd test our luck a little and put $20 in the lottery machine. Turns out luck was on our side that night because my husband came up $300!

Great family dining and single diners also. Coffee is good, food is excellent, service depends on where You're at.

Thanksgiving 2018. One of our plates was sent back to the kitchen as the gravey not only looked horrid it tasted burnt the whole meal was cold. 5 minutes later we get a "new fresh plate". NO we did not get a fresh plate (we know because the fork marks were still present) and it was still cold. We reported to the waitress but we chose to eat what we could. The most we got was "a" free slice of pie. We used to go here quite frequently but no more.

Absolutely THE worst experience ever! It took an hour and a half to get my food, I had to send it back twice because "toast the English muffin and fries extra crispy" was too difficult of a concept. The waitress was rude and the food was cold. IF I COULD GIVE A NEGATIVE NUMBER I WOULD.

The food sucked, the sandwhich and fries had no flavor, expensive for my son and i to eat, and they didnt even have crayons available to keep him occupied.

A best place to go with your loved ones and we had never have to wait for along time for a table and the people is so nice and etc
