Teppanyaki Restaurant Shoji's reviews
16Great place to eat. Our chef was super funny and I love the show they put on. The food is amazing. Great place for a celebration of any kind.
Love the atmosphere here I ordered a small sake and the waitress forgot and when she realized they gave me a free bottle of sake so very happy.
The waitress refused to serve alcohol because 2 people in the party were “underage”, yet nobody in the party was under the age of 21. Not ok
Closet thing to Benihannas in Medford. Great food & great service! The guy with the batman buckle is the man.
We will never return to Shojis again, and that is sad after celebrating birthdays here for the last decade. This was the most disappointing behavior from a manager I’ve ever experienced, and although the waitress targeted the boys and created unnecessary drama, it was the manager’s responsibility to make the situation right, and his pride cost him future business.
Best food we’ve ever had! Emma delivered great service. Robert was awesome entertainment. There was a terribly rude and obnoxious table next to us. While he was being berated, the manager handled it with grace and professionalism. Kudos to the team and the amazing experience!
Our cook Anthony was the best we have had in 20 years. Such a delight. So funny. Adjusted to the table and made everyone feel included. We will request him every time!
Loved the show. Food was great, too. I had spicey pork. Others in my group had chicken. Everyone had a good time, and enjoyed watching someone else do the cooking.
This blonde girl said she knew me and I was lying about my age after I showed her my id 3 different times and still won’t serve me and I’ve never met this mut before in my life. Just sucks that we’re trying to celebrate a birthday and she ruined everything
Robert was the best! He was super funny and told great stories. I ordered the tofu early bird special and he dressed it up really well and it tasted amazing! I have plenty of leftovers. The bussers were very attentive and super sweet, especially Emma. Never ran out of my drink and didn’t stop smiling the whole time I was there. Thanks for a great experience all y’all at Shoji’s!
I was racially profiled by not only the waitress but the manager as well, food was god awful. I’ve never been humiliated more in my life. Will not be coming back.
This place has gone downhill fast. We used to come here at least once a year, every year, for family birthday celebrations. Never again. The food tastes awful now, and the service was even worse than the food. Save your money and go ANYWHERE else in the valley
An awesome Japanese steak house! One of the few I have encoutered to have half portions of a lot of their dinners making it great for those times you are craving it but are not that hungry.
My lobster for $75.00 was the worst tasty thing I have ever eaten. It was so salty and tough as a leather soul. I will never go back. My son-in-law got steak and lobster, and his was the same way.
As usual the food was fantastic, I had the teriyaki chicken, Yummy! All dinners include a small salad, rice, veggies, your main course and if desired beans sprouts. All grilled to perfection right in front of you by chefs that enjoy putting on a show of their culinary talent's.
Prices have gone up a bit but the portions are still quite generous and the meal was delicious as ever! Thank you!
