Shun Fat (SF) Supermarket reviews
16Chaos but a huge selection. You don't come here for customer service you come here for selection.
Get past the stained sidewalks, bottomless potholls on exit with car and you have passed go.
Get passed the not so appealing to the eyes and at the same place as everyother supermarket, except for. Asian selection.oh yeah!
Some prices are like what? Really? Thats why we have freedom of choice, and what a choice of selection.
Walk every aisle the first time and you will get firstprice.
Nice place, love a good Asian Market. Prices comparable to regular supermarket, but with more Asian/Indian/Eastern products. Also have produce items you might not otherwise find in regular grocery store. Had to get Sriracha, as supply chain, and production issues are making it hard to find.
Bought a fresh Sea Bream from the seafood department. It was anything but fresh. When I got it home it stunk up my kitchen. Lesson learned.
Very dirty and smelly and unfresh meat and fish especially. Freezer burns on frozen items. Everything is $1 and more than other Asian markets. Over paid about $30 today, paying $100 on what usually buy and pay in neighborhood Asian markets in the area. Will never shop here again and will tell my family and friends not to as well!
Employees don't help much to find things.they're mean, too.they don't know how to be nice.
Gem! I randomly went here because I missed my bus on 82nd, and as far as 82nd Jade District: More clean than Hong Phat (the smell can we be honest?) similar prices. Not as overwhelming as Fubon or overstocked.
Blew my mind how much seafood and other options were available here. Portland area is so overpopulated with niche shops and higher prices. You can get so many Asian products and seafood species here its incredible. The vegetable section didn't appear to be the most fresh but it also seemed like I came late so I can't say that it isn't. The selection and pre-packaged stir fries was better than I've seen anywhere else. My wife and I spent almost 2 hours finding new ingredients and things we've seen on TV cooking shows that we've always been curious about. Meat prices were far better as well. I'll definitely be returning for a number of items
Fast Friendly service and there's so much there I really enjoy shopping there they have a wonderful selection and friendly service that was also quick at the checkout line. I appreciate it when I asked for help it went well and I really like shopping there one of my favorite stores to visit.
This market is located in a former Fred Meyer's location, and is very accessible by public transportation. It is a combination goods store and mini mall.
Standard Asian Market. If you're Asian and you grew up here it's just like the markets you remember. If you aren't familiar with these markets and did not have the pleasure of growing up with parents who frequented this market this market is lit. Got all the Asian stuffs you need.
I like Asian food and This store has everything I love coming here
good prices,
And there is a natural pharmacy they have everything
This is a retired Fred Meyers Supermarket. And it is filled with Asian Foods. My favorite was picking a fish and watching it cleaned and fried as I waited. Very good eating. When we got home. I recommend if you don't like the smell of fish cooking in the house you can go down and pick one up from this supermarket take it home and have fish without the fish cooking in the home.
Love the options available here. Drove 2 hours to get 6 bundles of calaloo, but many of the leaves were frostbite. Next time, I will check before buying. Jackfruit was so good!
1st time going to the one at 82nd Ave. It's just a bigger version of Food Depot in clackamas. I find it cleaner than fubonn, thou fubonn seems to have more Asian goods. Would like that they have lesser items that are available in any western groceries store here and more asian brand stuff (mostly cleaning and hygiene supplies)
Staff at FD and fuboon are friendlier. Here and Uwajimaya, meh!
I would go there again when I plan out what to get cos I don't really like driving there. Parking space is way.way better than fubonn for sure.
