Friendly staff, wonderful view right along the beach, great rates, clean rooms, pet friendly, NO bed bugs!
Great for a short one night stay!

Quaint little place, just off the main Hwy, ON the beach. Downtown is easy walking, with great coffee, cafes, and shops! These pics were just out our door.

The pillows were very flat, we should have brought our own. Beds were fine. We were given only one towel for the two of us. Didn't realize issue until after 9pm and left every day before 9am so we didn't get an extra towel. We should have called the office, I'm sure they would have provided.

A great find! We were right next to the beach which was lovely. The hotel was also within easy walking distance of a lot of Rockaway Beach. The cost was good for the view. Keep in mind that the door does not have a screen if you want it to be open while you are in the room. The locks on the door leading to the beach did require some time to figure out. I would take some time to figure it out before closing the door behind you. Overall, it was a great place to spend some time

An older motel with polite staff, clean rooms and right on the beach in downtown rockaway, within waking distance of everything.

1 adult and 1 small dog really enjoyed a two night stay in room #121. The room is simple and clean. The carpet is well worn and it shows the wear expected in a pet friendly room at the coast. You have an ocean view and a little patio with two chairs. I brought my own linens based on other reviews. But they seemed clean to me. The bed was comfortable and the space was quiet. The staff in the lobby were professional and friendly. I thought it was an excellent value and I would stay here again.

For the most part totally fine. Room was very clean. Very small room though.
Beds are absolutely horrid. Basically made of springs, loud, and pillows were flat as ever. If you are a soft bed person like I am this is HUGE problem. Thank God we're only staying 2 nights.
I saw online they say they will charge 50$ for "stained towels" so I brought my own to wash my make up off with.
They said the wifi is not working lol. Paying 380$ for two nights and no wifi. Yikes.
But overall it will do for a quick last summer trip.

This motel is right along the beach. That's the only good quality.

We paid to stay for a week, and a half. We were given one tiny bar of soap for our hands, 4 sets of dishes, a toaster that only fits small slices of bread, they cut a scrubbing sponge into 6 parts and we were expected to use that to clean our dishes, and a few tiny tubes of shampoo. The beds and couch were old, and worn out. The oven was difficult to use.

Upon entering we noticed that the room wasn't vacuumed, and was filthy. That's not a good way to start your vacation, and it left us weary of their hygienic standards.

This could be a nice place, but they spared every expense for their guests. If you wanted room service you had to request it the night before. If you lay 4 bath towels outside your door in the morning (that's how you get clean towels) you'll get one back, and a few hand towels.

They threaten a minimum $50 charge if the towels are dirty due to make up (or other things). If you have an animal, but don't let them know then expect a hefty fine.

Overall, I can understand caution when guests may not leave the property in good condition. When we enter the property, and it's a mess then it shows a lack of professional integrity. That's what you will find here.

Rooms -beds and furniture- are a bit dated but the price is amazing as well as the pet friendliness & location which cannot compare. We had a beachfront room with a door lright out to the beach. The front desk staff are all very nice and there is laundry onsite and ample parking. A 2 minute walk into the main town.
Can't wait to return!

Our room was a ground floor unit with a door right to the beach. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. My only minor complaint was that there were only two pillows on the queen size bed. Otherwise decent value considering the location and time of year (early August 2023).

Pros: beach access, pet friendly
Cons: Thin walls, toilet didn't flush properly, over priced, coffee pot but no coffee, no coffee in the lobby.

Decent rooms. Pet friendly. Best thing about this place is its ocean front. Wifi sucks though. I think it's Century Link so that pretty much explains why it's so bad.are you listening Comcast?

Great location, friendly service. Rooms are clean but pieced together furnishings and a bit tired but for the price, a terrific value!

The rooms are kind of lacking in decor but since the location is on the beach the view is pretty great! The staff are always gracious. I think its overpriced for what you get as far as the room. Everytime I have stayed there its been very noisy with thumping footsteps above me, and loud guests on the side.
