I used to turn to Silverton glass for many jobs and they were extremely responsive, timely and fair. Not now! New ownership and it has been a nightmare. Called for a week straight (daily) after a broken window in our house just to get a single call back. Guy finally came to look said he’d get back to me the next day with options and prices.it’s been another week and haven’t heard anything. Called them and same answer - “I’ll pass along the message and he’ll get back to you” that’s what they kept telling me before. I live in Silverton, I hate to take my business elsewhere but I’m left with a hole in my house, rain coming, and three weeks without any steps toward fixing it! Sorry, gotta go elsewhere and probably won’t go back.
Chose here to support local businesses. They gave me a date when it would be done, 2 weeks later and they were still giving excuses. They said they would take off the price to round the corners. Great! Finally got it and the corners weren't rounded. Said the machine broke. Well, that would be understandable if it wasn't so over due already and that was the discount you were going to give me. I believe they can do much better.
The glass was cut to the wrong size. They do not post their hours on Facebook. Unfortunately, the charge was 2X the price that is charged in other close by towns. We will be returning to have the size corrected, which is listed on the receipt.
They list as Auto glass replacement When I called they say they dont do auto glass. Waste of time and misleading advertising
We built our home a couple years ago and Silverton Glass did an amazing job with our shower glass on 3 custom showers. Easy to work with and swift to respond. They were kind enough to come out after a few months and make some minor adjustments. We get lots of compliments and I refer them to friends often. Prices were very reasonable and service as good as they come.
