5I started going to the Ukelele Circle (class) last year and have really had a great time. This is an awesome place and a blessing for so many seniors who would not otherwise have activities to become involved in. There are art classes, yoga, exercise, line dancing, and even legal and financial classes. I started volunteering at the front desk for 3 hours a week after I saw the efforts of the few helpers already there. Please support this center when you can, either by becoming a member for $48 per year or $29 for veterans, volunteering to help with events, or just getting involved. Also, the various spaces in the facility are for rent at very reasonable prices if you have an event or special occasion. Thanks!
Great place for seniors to exercise, play poker, or other games. The city of Silverton should financially support the Senior Center.
The center has been welcoming of my donations. Staff has been exemplary. Can't complain one iota. Just trying to pay it forward.
The Silvertones chorus sang. They provided refreshments. It was a lot of fun.
So many offerings of activities. Dodie keeps public well informed on programs.
