A big thank you from a mom and her very happy daughter. A few hours before a high school formal dance, we found ourselves in your store for the first time. My daughter desperately wanted to get a new dress for her event on the day of the event. The only way to describe our experience was that two fairy godmothers were working at S&J last Saturday afternoon. They swirled around her and helped her by bringing out a stunning formal dress that fit her like a glove. Their kindness and involvement was over the top and it was just a magical experience. Update: She had a fantastic time at the formal dance and looked and felt beautiful! Afterwards, we were reflecting on how great your store experience was and we were further filled with joy to see that Simple & Just is a store with a great mission. We will be devoted supporters. Thank you for the great experience. Even the spacious (clean and well-lit) dressing room was a delight.

This place has cute clothes and their mission is something I can really get behind, but wow their customer service is horrendous. I went in there to shop and the blonde woman working behind the counter completely ignored me, and when I asked for assistance she acted as if it was the most annoying request. This is not the way I expect be treated as a patron, or even as a human being! I sincerely hope they work towards receiving customers better, because I definitely left without buying anything and will not return there because of this.

Lovely store, great employees, I really like visiting here to shop as well as to donate clothing.

Wonderful consignment shop full of surprises! While they do sell some designer brands, they also have a wide selection of everyday lines at excellent prices. I regularly find shirts and dresses in good-as-new condition for under $15. For being such a physically small place, it has a huge variety. The staff are also very kind and attentive!

This is by far one of my favorite consignment stores in Portland!
They have quality and beautiful pieces that are timeless and stylish, from designers and quality brands.
If you're looking for beautiful and sophisticated pieces, or casual sportswear, or classy office wear, this is the place to go!
The customer service is also excellent, the store is clean and beautiful, and their proceeds support a great cause.

My thrift store of choice! Better quality, better selection, and WAY BETTER prices than other thrift stores. We’re talking lululemon for $10 and wool sweaters for $12. BEST CLOTHING SELECTION IN PDX. Quality not quantity.
