Sitka Sedge State Natural Area reviews
4A quiet, we’ll-maintained preserved with several different trails. We took the beach trail which still gave us great views of the estuary.
Beautiful trail. I would say most of the beach trail is accessible to disabled. There are sections where small tree roots poke above ground, but I think they can be avoided mostly. The back quarter of the beach trail is not accessible because the trail turns to sand.
Beautiful place, wonderful trail network. The only issue is the extremely loud dirt bikes north of the park.
If you walk 1.5 miles along the well-organized trail, you can go to the beach.
It is fantastic view while you reach at beach side. Few trails courses can choose and guarantee that you will make best shot the view easier.
Don't miss it.
Strongly recomend!
