Sladden Park reviews
9First time to this park. It was clean had basketball, pickle ball and nice play area for kids. Lots of trees for nice shaded areas and picnic areas
Juvenile owls seasonally use this park as a 'jumping off" spot, it's close to the river and near some 'natural' areas, as well as close to Duck Beach, where I'm sure they're able to get their bearings and get over their parents separating from them. They're a trip to see in the late evening, hopping around like toddlers on the playground equipment and coming over to where you're sitting/standing to check you out. This park is surrounded by a neighborhood that's generally very quiet, so it's a good idea to be quiet and if you're up to nonsense, steer clear altogether. It's very well maintained and is a nice place to break during a bike ride if you're not on the bike path. There's a basketball court and they're recently added what appears to be a baseball field.
THis has been a favorite Go To, for many Years. I go away to Hawaii and now live in Alaska, and this Establishment always provides a Caring and Nurturing Environment. Aloha
Great park. Has a bathroom. Only downside I saw was the bark they used for the ground. Sticks to baby butts and easily gives splinters.
Nice park, well maintained, quiet
Both shaded and non-shaded picnic tables and benches.
Beautiful park beautiful neighborhood lovely atmosphere then suddenly cops come driving tru the park and the opposite side from the basketball court there was an rv witch cops wer responding to an overdose call from someone in the rv, not sure how it ended but it was a great evening with friends playing a game, really hope the person was ok and very sad to see this at a park wer kids wer present playing around
Great little park. Has sand pit with a little water feature for summer. Lots of shade in the trees but unfortunately play structure directly in sun during the summer. Wish it was a little more shaded/protected. Rarely see trash, etc.
Cool playground but some of the neighbors of the park are pretty intimidating watching you from the street like you've done so mething wrong.
