Smiles4Oregon Dr. John K. Sullivan, DDS

I've had a serious phobia of teeth and dentists since childhood. I had nightmares I won't go into, but that terrified me.

My insurance really only covered the dental school, which did very little to help with my phobia. The students can only take on what they're leaning about, so it wasn't a great option.

I did a little searching online and found Smiles4Oregon. They let you text them at any time and they send text reminders which is super helpful for my ADHD brain.

I set up an appointment to just see where I'm at and what I need done. The office itself is somewhat spa like in appearance. It's clean and sets you at ease.

They don't take insurance. But they have reasonable plans set in place for basic, family, and Perio work per year. The dentist worked with me, totaled up cost of what I would need outside their plans (I needed teeth pulled and a stay plate), then discounted the total! I set up a reasonable monthly autopay, and my next appointment.

Now I go in and my fear is gone. I'm not fearing the unknown and feeling out of control of my dental health. They really just keep working with you towards your goals and don't shame you for where you're at.

I of course also love the little cookies and gift bags.

Best dentist and dental practice I have used. They teach other practices how to do dentistry right. I have had dental phobia - but never here. High quality all around. Recommend to everyone.

This is my favorite dentist office ever. THE FRIENDLIEST staff, beautiful office, comfortable chairs, wonderful hygienist, great dentist. My young kids even like to go to this dentist & they are 3&7yo! As an added thank you, they send out every patient with fresh made cookies and a mini swag bag full of goodies. My kids walk out with tons of fun toys.

This place is amazing. I have HUGE anxiety surrounding dental visits, and havent been in years. Dr. Sullivan and staff were able to assuage all of my concerns with a direct, friendly, flexible and patient centered plan on my first visit.

When I went to get my extractions completed I was extremely nervous, but Dr. Sullivan's calm demeanor and excellent bedside manner have made me a "forever patient". Thank you so much Smiles4Oregon! You guys are a total game changer!
