Most of their equipment would be best served in the car camping realm but they have pieces that have made it into my backpacking gear as well.

This little known brand in the states is quite popular for those who know the Snowpeak brand.

Lifetime warranty on all gear their gear, and with every piece fully capable of integrating with all the rest of their gear it is easy to become a Snowpeak fan!

Their prices help you understand the saying. “buy once, cry once” but I think you won’t be disappointed when you are reaching for your Snowpeak gear time and time again.

The staff is knowledgeable of the equipment and are very helpful if you want to test things out or price out entire kits and setups.

Definitely a must see store if you like outdoor premium goods (and if you have the cash for it) I enjoyed roaming around all the amazingly crafted outdoor solutions those guys created. Also the restaurant in the back seems like a place to go. It was closed when we got in! Great spot.

My husband and I were followed throughout the store by a sales associate who made us feel very uncomfortable. He didn’t directly interact with us, he simply lurked and watched us throughout the store. It felt like we were being watched as if we were suspects of shoplifting or something. This store gave us a very uncomfortable and offensive experience.

Really made me feel like I was back in Japan, attending Waseda and camping on the weekends! Amazing store design and friendly people. Eric was very personable.

I was excited to see this store and check out the cool gadgets that I had heard about for camping. The store was very cool and the design elements were outstanding. Sadly the items are not really for the average outdoorsman but more for glamping of the above average Joe. Lol.

If you are looking for the most technologically perfect outdoor products on the market today come here. Speaking as a career outdoorsman, these are the most advanced and user friendly tools in my kit. R&D and manufacturing are next level. Their stuff Always works, no matter how bad the conditions are. One of the only brands I have tested and not had a single product failure or design flaw.

I’ve lived in the same Portland neighborhood as Snow Peak headquarters for over ten years. I never had any problems until Snow Peak moved in 2 years ago. During Memorial Day weekend 2022, my car was towed because Snow Peak closed down a neighborhood street for a last-minute special event/car show. I was devastated when I walked over to my parking spot, only to find my car was gone. I messaged snow peak, and their response lacked empathy and understanding for the financial hardship they put many neighborhood residents through by towing their vehicles. Snow peak cost me $350 in towing fees. I would not recommend this place based on how they treat their neighbors.

We loved the customer care and experience we had today- trouble shooting our beloved Amenity Tent. The guys at the store were patient and together, they considered our issues and came up with an amazing solution that will ensure us more adventurous years with the tent. Professional service and attention to detail are really hallmarks of the brand. We love that the flagship store is right here in Pdx!

The brand also built a restaurant in the back. Blond wood decor. Very tranquil and tidy looking.

Incredible quality, design and care in these products.everything has a core of minimalistic, but with a design surprise and japanese esthetic, from tents, lamps to the clothes.the clothes are made in that japanese ethos of made-to-last & buy a few great things-once-wear forever; the prices may shock, but you have to have that lifetime perspective.watch for their sales!

Incredible store! Even if you don’t buy anything, stop by to experience fine Japanese goods.

Just wanted to give a shoutout to Manny and his team for providing such an amazing first experience at the Portland store. Manny represents the brand very well not only with his stylish, eye-catching fit but also with his vast knowledge and experience of Snow Peak products. I originally came in for a replacement (which he handled quickly and efficiently) but came out with enough stuff that it was a challenge to carry back everything to the car (he even offered to help me carry them).

The store itself is so beautifully designed and laid out with products in a way that they maximize floor space while allowing customers to envision their next Snow Peak experience.

Already recommended this brand to so many friends after visiting this store. Thanks Manny! I will be back eventually.
