This was the Farmer's Market, and it was going hard @ 8: 30 AM. I'll want to get there at 8: 00 AM in the future.

I love what Portland has done with this little green belt. Tons of benches and places to sit, some cool art installations, lots of beautiful flowers to enjoy! We were there during the peak of rose season, which was beautiful. Enjoy a stroll after a cup of coffee at a local cafe.

A pleasant area to chill for a while and enjoy the outdoors.
Lots of pretty flower beds and the occasional piece of artwork.
There are benches placed at convenient intervals.
Sometimes there are local Buskers playing music.

Great way to head north/south and stay in the shade and cool air. The park blocks stretch from PSU to the Pearl District. Lots of trees and plant life including roses. Statues and artist monuments. Occasionally there are music events in the park blocks. One thing to be aware of though, is that often times there are people who are smoking in the park blocks. Not that big of a deal, and it's always easy to walk around.

I've been here several times, and it's a nice walk, ges you away from the concrete, but you've got to be careful, some of the steps are a fall hazard! A poor design in which the stairs taper and you may not notice the edge. It's easy to trip so watch out!
I'm sure they'll come around to fixing it when someone.

Love this location in Downtown Portland Cultural District! You are in the heart of the city surrounded by so much art! Plenty of places in walking distance and the convenience truly makes a difference.
