Cafe Southpine Bakery reviews
16 My family and I stopped by for breakfast because my daughter had a soccer tournament. In one word, it's delicious!
As mentioned in other reviews, Jewel in particular had soft-boiled eggs, which are rare in America, and they were very delicious.
The kitchen staff also spoke Japanese and we had a great time. Thank you!
Very cute place.food was good but not hot. Here's the thing.it was 20 degrees outside. The door was propped open. The guy at the order desk said they're leaving it open to protect from covid! Uhh.well we all got pneumonia.so stupid
The food was absolutely amazing. The prices were a little high, but you definitely get what you pay for. Everything that my family and I have tried from was pretty much to die for. There are so many wonderful flavors in all their food.
DELICIOUS. The pepper jelly on The Jewel biscuit was to die for! And the coffee was incredible! Will go again!
A quick stop for java and yummy pastry before a long drive to No. Cal. Staff was cheerful, helpful, and efficient. Great mocha!
It’s 28 degrees outside and the door is open. The owner who was previously rude and clearly only thinks of herself says, ”we have had it open for 4 years it keeps us well”. Well it makes the rest of us not well. Sadly this was my go to place but enough is enough.
Love the Homey feeling. Great atmosphere and very friendly. Lattes and pastries keep me coming back! Chocolate Chip Cookies are the BEST in town!
Coffee was OK. Food was nothing special. It was all overpriced. I ordered a GF biscuit and was served a $6 piece of toast. Not sure what went wrong?
My favorite spot in north Eugene! Great food, the best chocolate chip cookies you'll ever have, and nice folks.
The Southpine Bakery is really great. My family and I have been here numerous times, and each time has been fantastic. The food is great, as well as the selection of pastries, and their coffee is good too. It's been great going here and relaxing while we enjoyed our lunch. I would highly recommend it.
Google says they're open until 2, but their hours are incorrect. I stopped by during their stated hours, waited in line for several minutes, and then was rudely told they were closed, with way more sass than I needed.
We have been several times with omni, veggie, and vegan friends and enjoyed our food and coffee. We have had savory and sweet items, as well as pastries, toasts and bowls. All have been tasty.
Mark & Lisa are amazing, the staff is also amazing! Their food is absolutely phenomenal. The atmosphere is relaxing and fun. Not a place you want to miss out on!
They also provide vegetarian & gluten free options
This place is absolute perfection. Not to be missed. Get anything on the biscuits menu that strikes your fancy. Compliment with a sweet pastry and a yummy dirty hippie chai.
Great service, great portion sizes for the price. I had the handcrafted bowl and it was delicious!
My review is based solely on my experience today. I have been pleased with the cafe on my several previous visits. Today I had an unnecessary dispute with the male owner over couple of tablespoons of extra onions for which I paid. He appeared to be extremely upset by our conversation and was very rude to me. I was shocked that a business owner would not recognize the old adage that the customer is always right. Neither I nor my friends will be returning. I hope he enjoys his onions.
