20This place is the best place to go if u need structure while getting clean they help u feel like a person and get u back on ur feet
Execelent staff and superb help for smooth transition from incarceration to positive member of a community
Top notch re-entry program.transitional housing.resource center.offers many services for success.
Great place to get back on your feet. They help you find work and get your life back together off the streets.
This organization is superb. Helping men and women with reentry from prison or jail. Amazing staff, outstanding services in a safe and secure environment. I can't say enough good things about Sponsors.
They have experience staff and it appears to be able to make a difference in some of the clients. It's a very good program
Super friendly and helpful! Three full job boards to peruse and plenty of computers if you need to access Internet to do apps online. Every area should have a place like this.
I recently delt with sponsers because they are providing services to a family member. I was attempting to get my car back that I had loaned to him.that is three weeks late in returning. I thought it would be ok to do that because sponsors would make the ofenders who stay there do the right thing. I was WRONG! They instead of assisting me in the retreaval of my vehicle they protected the offender and asked me to leave the property. I didn't do anything to prompt there reaction I went to staff with my problem with the offender and was asked to leave. I feel they are assisting or aiding the offender to rip me off for my car.
They do good service taking care of those in transition back to regular life. They have made a difference with several members of my church.
If your looking for help out of prison this placewill help you a lot. But it really is up to you to do the work for yourself. I lived here for 113 days and took advantage of every day of it! Help me geta job, clothes and tools for that job and I'm still working there almost a year now! Thank you to all of sponsors worker and thejobs program. Also a few community beds are open to folks that are on probation or post prison parole that is how i got into the program i advicated for myself and it really paid off!
Badass place! Wish there was one in Portland. Truly amazing program. I've seen its work & success first hand.
The staff is very helpful, if you really want to better your life they have the tools to help you on your way
In general this is an OK place that tries to help you get back on your feet.
They overemphasize getting a full time job, and put it as a higher priority than finishing college even if you are one semester away; they won't acknowledge that a full-time courseload really does equate to full-time work. Be prepared to put those dreams on hold.
A dorm parent who is just another client will walk into your room without knocking several times a day and all throughout the night. Borderline traumatizing if you just came from a place where the only reason someone comes into your room without asking is to stab you.
I faced slight racism but not more than I do in other parts of Oregon (think Hermiston or Medford) e.g. At weekly meeting roll call the staff member referred to me as "the really Asian last name" but Nguyen is actually American. Nguyễn with the ễ is Vietnamese, anyways not anyone's fault except mine for having a strange last name.
You have to give up all your EBT food benefits but the food is weirdly distributed. People can eat as much as they want from everybody's supply, or you get none at all if you do not like the healthiness of their choices.
When I got here they were carrying my roommate out on an ambulance stretcher. Besides all that this place felt safe, an oasis in a desert made up of dive bars and dumpster divers.
I have a great support team's with excellent leader ship skills. I'm Thankful to to a part of.
Awesome! They really care for people and are trying to make a difference in men & womens life that have been incarcerated.
Sponsor's is the best. They really do this community a great service by giving people a second chance.
Chad is the man for job resources, and Jeffery was also very helpful guiding me to the appropriate facilities for assistance. Thanks!
