Peaceful, crystal clear, shallow, great place for kayaking, picnic areas and bathrooms. Love it!

Pure magic.this place is beyond words and just what the soul needs. I am greatful to have had the chance to kayak this creek a few times. If you are looking for a low impact peaceful experience this is it.the currents are not strong so paddling is made easy both up and down steam.three water is crystal clear and the views are breath taking.

Spring Creek is a great place to paddle. It's about a two mile paddle up to the headwaters but the current is slow and the water is about 40 degrees so that keeps the temp on the water a bit lower. There's no shade so sun screen is a must. Bug spray is also recommended as there are quite a few mosquitoes both at the push off and at the headwaters. Once you get to the headwaters you can see spots where the water bubbles up. Floating back to the push off spot is pleasant and you can get back at a relaxed pace if you just want to enjoy the crystal clear waters. If you like bird watching there are opportunities to see quite a few different birds along the creek. There are clean restrooms at the day use area.

Beautiful place! There are lots of trees and close to the river. Great place to launch kayaks.

We attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new kayak launch at Spring Creek. A collaboration with Oregon State parks tribal lands, and forest service.
