St. Vincent de Paul - The Dalles Thrift Store reviews
15 Best thrift store in The Dalles by far!
Ok so yea options are slim but it beats Goodwill by far, and the Salivating Army is horrid unless they have actually changed in the last 2 years.but I honestly doubt it.
The store was messy. The girl with brown hair, ponytail, & black shorts was a cashier & was working on clothes when we were next in line with the man cashier she stepped up & said " I can help you" we said oh we are ok here cause the transaction was completed with the customer we were behind & she then rolled her eyes, made a sighing noise & rudely walked away. It upset me
Very clean and great thrift store. I was amazed at how well the books were organized and sorted. Everything was clean and arranged nicely. Prices are also fair. The other nice thing about this thrift store is that they have a bathroom for customer use, which was also clean and nice.
Great selection of clothes and their prices can't be beat. The staff is friendly knowledgeable and great customer service
Had Stretch a gánster there that had 12 inch knife and the blonde counter person didn’t call the fukthePilice >> they are mad and trying to help muggers gun me down pellet gun. 38 Special. They need safety practices that fukthePilice walk away from me and my taxes pay their fuking bills! Bastanteé!
Pretty good place. Although they really need to pay attention with the items that have gotten paid for and put sold signs on them as soon as someone pays money for it. Instead of thinking it wasn't sold and continued to sell it to someone else. Very disappointed experience.
BUYER BEWARE
Good selection. Very well organized.
HOWEVER, way over priced. $29.99 for a pair of used sandals that retailed for that brand new.
That is one example for reference. Not a place to find a bargain.
Big store, lots of clothing and a huge book section. The staff were nice but the restroom needs updating. Good cause with true thrift store prices.
They are a great crew. Always friendly, answers questions from the visitors. All around great A+
Great thrift store. Well organized, and good COVID measures in place. Some prices a little high though.
The staff are generally friendly and I’ve been able to find some pretty neat stuff. However, whoever prices furniture needs to have their price gun taken away. Most of the furniture is old and battered, and priced above what it would have been new (pictures for reference).
St. Vincent's is my favorite thrift shop in The Dalles. When I was working as a police officer here in town and I asked for some clothes or a sleeping bag for someone in need, they always provided what was needed.
I always stop here on my way through The Dalles. I love this little gem. I've found many great items at reasonable prices.
Paid $15. For a Nike shirt then found stains on it.
$7.00 for a pair of pants.
All new less at wal-mart.
Over priced.
Better deals at Salvation Army
Everything is so overpriced here. If you catch the right color tag so that you get 50% off you can sometimes find a good deal on something that you wanted.
