Coffee Shop Starbucks reviews
164 stars because the baristas are gems & customer service has been good. Our drink orders have been messed up several times, usually they are correct when I order ahead on the app. This morning the batista actually recognized that my order had been put in incorrectly & verbally confirmed the correct order with me before making the drink, I really appreciated that. This location gets very busy but the baristas do their best. The cleanliness of this location definitely gets zero stars, needs some major clean up!
Overall experience was not good. From the employee holding up the line to talk to the car in front of us to getting the wrong size straws. I made a mobile order. Est pick up 12: 12. Entered before that time. Did not get my drink till 12: 22 and I was second in line. Drinks were melted and made wrong. Did not want to waste any more time to get new drinks made. Bad service at this location!
These folks at the Ashland Street Starbucks are super-friendly and the service at their drive through is consistently speedy- amazingly so!
Consider 'paying it forward' and anonymously buying for the person behind you in the line- The feel-good experience is a great way to start your day, and theirs too!
We love Remix Coffee Bar right across the street too when seeking a more leisurely start to the day.
So many great places and people in Ashland!
The frequent early closing without any reason or notice is NOT what I'd expect from a Starbucks. Sometimes there is a lone employee who perseveres and stays and does the work of barista, cashier and food person alone for the last hour of a slow day. Others seem to feel like they can just shutdown and leave which is irritating when one drives across town to get something from them. Closing at 7: 00 pm should MEAN closing at 7: 00 pm. Not that if things are slow, the worker can pack it in and leave at 5: 00 or 6: 00 pm. This has happened about 6-7 times.
So here's the plan. Go across the street and give the local coffee place a try. Or if you're a Starbucks diehard, go to the Starbucks that is located in the Albertson's towards I5. It is immediately inside the entry door, is rarely, crowded and the workers are great - and they stay open at the hours they advertise.
Something needs to be done about this early closing just because it's slow, And it's usually on weekends. Imagine the travelers who get off from I5 and drive a mile down the street to only find that they have closed before the advertised hours. Not good.
Well it's SB and everything that they serve is really good and consistent. From Vancouver BC Canada through the United States and down into San Jose del Cabo Mexico, it's always great.
Big corporate entity places itself right across the street from a local treasure. Please go to any of the number of local coffee shops.
Employees are always very nice & online ordering is usually very accurate & easy. There's been a couple hiccups over dozens of visits (breakfast sandwich was cold with one order when usually hot, sweetener in tea ordered as unsweetened) but overall seems like they have a good team as of late. Starbucks however needs to allow tipping on credit cards! You can go around this by using the app but for anyone paying with a credit card, they cannot add a tip.
It's OK, they yet again shut down inside seating due to "covid", really? Everyone else is open! Just another badly managed location hiding behind the covid hysteria.
Definitely an employee shortage up here in Southern Oregon, because it shouldn't take 20minutes to get a drink in the drive thru
Go to ReMix right across the street you will not be disappointed. Support local businesses!
The image you see first for this page is not this location. That is the downtown Ashland location which is now closed. But the one on Walker/Ashland St.is great and has a drive through.
Great staff, consistently good coffee, a large store with inside and outside seating.
At a nice location with a beautiful building. I wasn't aware of that a 5% food-and-beverage tax is collected in Ashland, which puzzled me initially because I'd thought no sales tax in Oregon.
I came in for a decaf drip coffee and there was none brewed. I used to work for Starbucks and we were always required to keep it brewed regardless of demand. Has this changed? Disappointed.
Love this place! Everyones so nice and I've had a couple of fun conversations in the drive through. The drinks are really good and I highly recommend it.
One of the first places I got to hang out at with my friend and got to know them better during their visit from out of town
