Staybridge Suites Hillsboro North, an IHG Hotel

Nice rooms and overall infrastructure. Breakfast should be more diversified (it really decreases the interest of the hotel a notch).

Location is very convenient next to highway intersections, grocery store and Intel. Hot breakfast and social event every Monday to Wednesday.

Location wise, it's in the middle of an industrial area. So, there are no shops or restaurants. But it still has easy access to the freeway and is only a few min away from town. Great breakfast and dinner, good people working and visiting.

The room is spacious, clean, and relaxing. Breakfast is bread, bagels, cereals, fruits, yogurt, potatoes, etc. There are not many types.

I will come back. I did not get the discounts that I should have and paid a higher price than what is advertized. The clerk did not offer any even when I asked. I am seinor on a fixed income, a US Army vetran, AARP member, USAA member, and was charged 201.00 for one night stay. Why?

Just because the 5 stars look good, the 1 and 2 stars wipe out the good reviews.why take a chance? Seems Jon Bean can make excuses, and the fact there may only be 1 room left, well we all know what that room will be, The room from hell and pets. I think we'll pass

We had a lovely stay. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. Everyone was very friendly and the hotel was in a great location!

Staybridge Suites. Interesting hotel. The location is fine. When I stayed there the room was big. Built relatively recently. However. As you walk down hall to room it reaks of marijuana. Secondly for a newer built hotel it feels a lot older. Worn. U can get breakfast in morning from someone who is wearing sweatpants because the employees live there. So the work is just an extension of their regular life. And the hotel feels that way. Feels lived in. Marajuany. Unprofessional. Not worth the money they charge imo.

People with ZERO customer service skills could be trained if not find a different job. Some of the staff in the front desk look offended when we ask for something that should exist on the hotel.
Things brake and they don’t even notify the guests.
DON’T book here if you want a gym. No windows, no tv. One tv in the wall with no remote. No weights.
Often, daily really, the doors are kept UNLOCKED by some of the staff. No wonder some guest had their laundry stolen.

Front desk person rude and unhelpful. Requested early check In and not ready In time.i spend many nights at IHG and this location does not provide customer service I've come to expect from IHG. DISAPPOINTED

Hotel has gone downhill since the last time I stayed here. Carpet is stained throughout the hotel. Clutter everywhere behind the front desk, staff are non-existent or visibily sick. Gym is missing many essential pieces of equipment - only 3 dumbbells remain. While I love how quiet and secluded this part of town is, the hotel itself is not soundproof when the hotel is busy and full. Overall just a 2 star experience that isn't aligned with the above average pieces.

Each time I stay, there are always nice clean rooms. If there's something ever wrong with a room. They'll address it quick, and or usually provide another room.

Okay, So I have an unfair advantage, I work for IHG. Which can make me a little nit picky but it also means I understand the standards these hotels are held to. This one is just not hitting the mark for me. Walls all over the hotel are scuffed and have gouges taken out of the paint, same with our door. When we checked in we were not in a room with 2 beds despite me calling 2 weeks prior and confirming we were (thankfully there was a 2 bed ADA suite available that we were given but it was still an inconvenience). When we did get checked in we found a bag and box of trash in the elevator that was still there when we left for dinner 90 minutes later (we did inform the desk staff and it was cleaned up by the time we got back) but we also found the trash cans in the hallway of our floor to be literally overflowing and piled high with trash. The room is spacious and clean and tidy but there is a randomly open and unlocked water heater closet in our room. There was no linens for the pull out couch and when I went down to the desk to ask for some I was given a pillow with no cover and a duvet with no cover. The desk gal mentioned that this is an ongoing problem as of a couple of weeks ago when (according to her) housekeeping randomly stopped leaving the supplies for the pull outs. The water pressure is terrible and it takes a bit to warm up, lights are out in our room, we only had 1 TV remote between 2 TV's, we were quoted the wrong time for breakfast in the AM so showed up almost 30 minutes before it was ready.
All that being said, the staff have been very kind and been willing and able to help us at every turn but I wish there had not been so many problems that needed their attention.

We were thrilled that they serve a free dinner, Monday through Wednesday. Great room and comfortable bed. Good experience!
