Steakhouse at Cove reviews
13 Great country restaurants all thier food was great
We had a family gathering there the staff is very friendly and quick with refills and assisting with recommendations. They have fantastic prime rib salads and nice choices for beverages
Its a very small town but I wouldn't pass up this restaurant
I feel so lucky to have this amazing steakhouse right down the street! Love the food, staff, and relaxed atmosphere. I’ve brought family visiting from the south and the east coast and they all were impressed! Everything is wonderful…one suggestion…bring back the shoestring fries! My husband is gluten-free and they have tons of options and are more than willing to accommodate and answer questions. Having a separate fryer for making fries fully gluten-free would be amazing I fully recommend!
Poorly prepared food. Too expensive for what they try to dish out.
Sad.used to be good.
Step it up kids!
Tried out this steakhouse for our anniversary. Everything from the ambiance, food, service and drinks was amazing. Would definitely reccomend to go there. We will be back!
The food is way overpriced! I got a burger and it was overdone. However, they still get 3 starts because the desserts were amazing!
Best spinach dip with hot pita bread. Topped dinner off by sharing the 3 pound ribeye. Cooked to perfection and spoon spoon good. Highly recommend!
We want to support our local restaurants, and went here last night for dinner. The experience started before we even got to the door. I'm disabled, in a wheelchair, and to get in the door, have to position the wheelchair within inches of the steps. No way should this be considered wheelchair accessible. We sat down and ordered, a ribeye with a side skewer of shrimp, and a bacon wrapped tenderloin. The salad came, and we had to ask for silverware. Then we had to request salt and pepper. The salad itself was very nice. Our meals arrived, missing the shrimp skewer. My tenderloin, ordered medium rare, was a perfect well-done. The ribeye, ordered medium was closer to rare. They did offer to replace the steak steaks, but I refused the offer, the experience at that point just put a damper on the evening) Spoke with the manager before leaving, and I really hope they train the staff better. All in all, a big disappointment. We will return in a month or two, give them another chance, and update this review,
We grabbed a to-go order, but I’m looking forward to dining-in during our next visit. The French bread pizzas were really good, not to mention a great value with the Sunday special. I’ll still be thinking about the sidewinder garlic rosemary fries for some time to come, they’re delicious! We also had the taco salad, which was full of flavor and filling. Great eating in a cool town, we’ll be back!
Food was good. My wife's burger was very under cooked.took it home and cooked it done!
Good service and food, especially for being so rural. Especially enjoyed the rosemary shoestring fries and the fried pickles. The veggies (we had cauliflower) were significantly under-seasoned.
So good! Wonderful Prime Rib birthday dinner! We also appreciate them not using styrofoam take home boxes. We will definitely be back!
I had the chicken fried steak which comes in 2 different sizes. I found the small size more than I could eat. It came with gravy and mashed potatoes. It was delicious. I also had the pumpkin ice cream for dessert. We got there at 7 pm and they closed at 8 pm. They served the food in plenty of time to enjoy it.
Such good food and beverages for such a small off the beaten path restaurant. Best food I had all weekend
