Stitchin' Post, Sisters OR

Wonderful as always! The fabric display and their choices of goods is wonderful. Next trip to Oregon we'll for sure bring us back here.

It’s tricky for me to rate this beautiful quilt shop. I’ve followed them for years and planned to visit during the Sisters quilt show. We finally made it to Sisters and our first stop that morning was the Stitchin Post. We had scoped it out the night before and we were very excited to go in. We had a question about a quilt in the window and asked one of the staff. She could not have been more unfriendly. She pretended she didn’t know what quilt and was not anxious to see the one we tried to point out. She would not give us a straight answer about fabric acting as though we were wanting information that she didn’t need to give us. We just wanted to know if the background fabric was available. I have to say it took a bit to get over feeling bad about the way she spoke to us. We were so excited to finally be there and that disappointment stayed with me for a good part of the day. It’ll be a long time before I can come back to Sisters from Texas and I’m not interested in making that happen.
The shop is lovely and if you don’t get that one clerk I’m guessing it would be a fun experience.

Lovely and very well organized. I loved finding some of my favorites like cotton+steel, AGF, RPC, etc.and some really fun fabrics to use as backing and binding for my current project.

Huge store, lots of smiling faces, lots of goodies to choose from! I didn't want to leave!

Beautiful shop. Lots of different fabrics. I went down during the quilt show. Super super disappointed that they sold out of the quilt show art panel before 9: 45 am. Looks like staff got access to them though. One had one appliquéd on her t-shirt another one was made into a quilt. If you know you are having a QUILT show wouldn’t the fabric PANEL be a priority? ! Super, super let down by this. Spent money on gas, a day of work, a motel, food, and time…. And couldn’t purchase the one thing I wanted.

Fabulous choice of fabrics from traditional to modern. There are experts on hand to support anything you wish to learn about fiber arts. Classes are first rate. People are always attentive. Could not not ask for more!

Amazing store with so much fabric! Like wow! I've gotten materials for several blankets here and I have a pattern for what will probably be some sort of throw, tapestry, blanket.something that I got here! Super cool store.
