Great place for authentic Indian food. Ambiance is great. Very clean. We met here for a birthday celebration and the food and service were impressive. Excellent service by "Lovely". Highly recommended and spiced to perfection.

We dined at this restaurant about a week ago, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. The food was so good, the chef Mr Luvly Singh and the staff made the experience memorable. If you are not looking for fancy chandeliers or expensive furnishings but amazingly good authentic Indian food then this restaurant is for you. We will definitely be visiting this restaurant again.

Pretty cool place.awesome food.great portion size, good price. ROI is great. Staffs are well mannered.gave my 4 year old an organic fruit juice as soon as we entered.will be coming back from Portland to have Indian food here.garlic cheese naan is amazing.lamb korma and afghani malai tikka is brilliant.definitely my go to place from now on.menu is compact and hence food tastes great.

One suggestion, please keep goat as an option.

I was blown away by the incredible flavors and hospitality of this restaurant. I was greeted with a warm welcome from Niter and Nikhil, and the owner.
As for the food, it was simply outstanding. I started with the samosas, which were perfectly crisp and filled with a savory potato and pea mixture. For my entree, I ordered the chicken tikka masala and rajasthani and biryani was blown away by the depth of flavor in the creamy tomato sauce.
To accompany my meal, end it with the chai massala and the golab jaman soo yammmyy, The menu is extensive, with plenty of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options to choose from.
Overall, I would highly recommend Sultan the faming tandoor to anyone looking for delicious Indian Pakistani cuisine in a welcoming environment. The service was top-notch, and the food was some of the best I've had. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes!

We have been looking for an Indian restaurant close to home. We found Sultan the Flaming Tandoori and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and authentic. The service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, but don't know be put off by the location. The food is well worth the visit.

This place is AMAZING, easily the tastiest Indian food I've had in the Portland Metro area. I love Indian food and order it at least once a week from various restaurants in the area- this will definitely be our new go-to!

They have lots of dishes to choose from and the portions are generous- there will definitely be leftovers when you eat here! The prices are reasonable, my husband and I spent about $40 between the both of us with 2 meals and bread. My husband is sensitive to spicy meals, so he ordered his dish mild, and he was able to eat it with no complaints of "heat". I ordered mine at medium spice level and it was well done- not too spicy at all, but definitely didn't feel like Americanized, low spice Indian food. The ingredients were fresh and so many tasty spices are used in the meals- the restaurant is very fragrant when you walk in.:)

My only minor complaint is that the service was a little slow, but the high-quality food and service during checkout made it worth the wait! When visiting a sit-down place, I'd rather wait for a while to have a delicious meal that was obviously cooked with care than to have frozen vegetables thrown together with pre-made curry.

One of the best Indian/Pakistani food in town! I drove all the way from Vancouver and I’m definitely coming back. Excellent service!

Finally an Indian restaurant in Sherwood. Used to have to go all the way to Beaverton or go without. Large menu, have yet to explore it all, but the Mango Tikka Masala was excellent and something I have not seen on other Indian menus. The Palak Paneer, Naan, Tandoori Chicken, & Butter Chicken also flavorful with good spice level. Staff is friendly and portions are great for the price.

Delicious! Some of the best I have eaten. Staff was very helpful choosing dishes, as we wanted to try some new things. The naan is amazing! I will definitely be eating there again.

Undoubtedly the best place to have an authentic Indian food. The service is outstanding. The ambience is classy. The food was beyond my wildest imaginations!

I have been to India.they made authentic dishes! They gave a lot of food to eat, too. We brought home extras.

This place is fun because you get a dish, but they serve the food in its own bowl with a shared bowl of rice. So it is sort of family style, and you can easily try other people's stuff. There are a lot of vegetarian options, and since most of it is served with rice, gluten free is pretty easy to get too.

Ordered takeout on their website. When I got there, food was ready by the door.

Overall, very impressed. We got goat Saagwala, chicken tikka masala, and goat biryani.

Saagwala was rich and creamy and the chicken was juicy - highly recommend
Biryani was delicious - not as spicy as I’m used to, but I liked the addition of carmelized onions
Tikka masala - flavor was good, but surprised the sauce was thin. I’ll probably get the butter chicken next time.

Will definitely come again.
