Summit Health – Redmond South

Came in with a fever of 101.5 degrees, head ache, body aches and a sore throat from hell it’s self. I was to the point I didn’t want to go in but knew I needed to to get better.everyone was nice to me there EXCEPT the front desk check in lady. I wish I got her name now.she looked at me like I was the rude one and total judgment and like I was the problem there. Lol. I previously had cancer and hate going to hospitals. So means a lot when I finally give and go. Doesn’t help me at all feel better about when the front desk lady is totally rude and makes me feel like I’m an inconvenience there!
Also, besides that, when I went in I was shivering cold with the chills and didn’t even get offered a blanket.just a seat and done. Horrible! Hospitals are suppose to care and make their patience comfortable. The doctor who treated me told me “I look like I should have a fever…” when in fact if he even checked my chart, it said I have a 101 fever. Lol. I was baffled and so was the person with me there! A then he came back to tell me he was incorrect a that I did have a fever. Crazy! I am no doctor, but to me that was just unbelievable. Everything about this hospital just was all backwards. I get we are all human, but this human needed care and I didn’t get that here.sadly my PCP is there and I am highly thinking of changing to somewhere new and never going back after this visit. I’d give a solid 0 if I could.: (

Nothing but amazing service from Dr Garbus! He is so compassionate and doesn’t judge whatsoever. I highly recommend him! He tried very hard to get my insurance to let me see an outside of network Dr at OHSU that is extremely familiar with my rare genetic disease. I will always request him for my upper and lower endoscopies. He really cares about his patients.

Horrible people that are supposed to care and help. Nurses, doctors, and staff are rude, unprofessional, and uncaring. They don't care about the people they are supposed to be helping. They make you feel like you are an inconvenience to them and they make you feel stupid. They deserve zero stars. Stay away from Leslie Brott. She is one of the worst doctors I have ever come across.

Billing department is a joke, put me in collections 2 years after I was told my sons bill was covered under insurance. I received no calls or bills in the mail and that it’s too late to bill his insurance. I asked if I could do a payment plan and they told me no and to deal with it in collections because it’s not on them now. Way to screw over a single parent! Honestly should be ashamed of themselves l.
