After Summit Painting stained / painted my deck in 2022, I decided to request a bid for a full exterior paint job. Mauricio gave me a detailed estimate in the fall of 2022 and I signed up for the summer of 2023 (yes, well, you know it rains a lot so sign up in advance.). Mauricio gave me some guidance about paint type and paint samples to pick the colors. He is very well organized with forms and the format of his written bids. In June 2023 the Portland weather cooperated and Mauricio had his crew paint the full exterior of the house at the time agreed to the previous fall (on time very good!). First they prepped, then they painted. A port-a-potty was temporarily delivered.very professional. The neighbors hardly noticed that they were there.
Sergio (crew leader) and the crew were careful and hard-working and now the house looks fantastic! Fortunately, there were no surprises and the job came in close to the original budget. Thank you to Mauricio and the crew! (I was going to write a separate review for the exterior, but I couldn't find the tab, so updating the deck review)

Last summer Summit Painting stained / painted my deck with solid stain (in Summer 2022). The paint job looks great! They also repaired some of the deck and used better technique and screws than what was there before. They were all very professional and hard-working. Mauricio kept the mid-summer commitment as scheduled several months ahead. He made recommendations about the paint product selection when he came to do the estimate. He and the crew made recommendations about repairs to the wood. They seemed organized and well equipped with a cutting table and other items. The amount charged for the repair portion that was charged by time and materials was very reasonable. Thank you to Mauricio and the crew!

Mauricio was on time the first consultation and that sold it for me, besides the great reviews. He kept me updated through the whole process and was very friendly. Project started earlier than expected and was done in a few days. House came out looking great and would recommend summit painting to anyone!

Summit Painting did an excellent job repainting the exterior of our house. Power washing, caulking, minor carpentry, body painting and trim painting was all completed quickly and according to schedule - and without any overspray or incidental drips. The crew was courteous, hardworking and meticulous, and they cleaned up and left our property orderly every day. Importantly, they worked safely even when painting eaves three stories above the ground. Mauricio communicated regularly regarding the schedule and progress, and his bid was both complete and competitive. Our house looks great and we have no reservation recommending Summit Painting to others.

Summit Painting and Mauricio were able to get our house prep'd and painted even though we were approaching the end of the season. We saw the work the did on a neighbor's house and liked what we saw. They were both cheaper and faster than the competition and the quality of the work was great. They were efficient and did an excellent job.
