Sun Outdoors Coos Bay reviews
7Location is beautiful, we camped on the beach. I have 3 stars for "rooms" because campsites are a bit close. One group pitched their tent in the walkway path to other campsites. Bathrooms were well kept for the most part. Some people are slobs, so "housekeeping" did what they could. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
I had tentsite T10, a lovely ocean view!
It was just my 2 person tent, so that fit fine. Included a picture from the road, it's semi private, you can see my tent and table but the tree coverage was nice. Parking is down in the rocks.
Not the place for us with dogs. Foxtails and stickers! Also, backed up to bushes and tried to dodge a tree with our pullouts. It may be for some, but not us. Although they do have access to a beach, by the time you get there, your dog has picked up some stickers.
This place did not have any wifi service but however they have the best spot to go to the ocean
Love everything about this place! Been coming here for many years. Only downside is they change how soon you can rebook without any notice to us. We were unable to get our same spots because they gave them away to someone else before we had a chance. I feel we should have had first choice for the next year.
This was our first family camping trip and the first beach experience for our kids. We enjoyed it soo much! Driving through Southern Oregon was beautiful, and then we arrived at this breathtaking beach. Staff was friendly and even recommended the best tent site. The view was spectacular. The water was a little cold but not enough to stop our kids from swimming. The tide pools are a must-see. Sunsets did not disappoint, and waking up and falling asleep to the waves crashing made us want to stay even longer.
We will be back for sure
We stayed in our RV, and the place is perfect as well as the office is above a 5.
We look forward to booking in the future for at least 3 days or more.
