Very friendly and helpful. I went there for a pack of 8 strings for my electric guitar and was pleasantly surprised to see they had them in stock

Horrible customer service. Walked in and was promptly ignored, while others who looked like easy money to the staff were rushed to. The store had 4 people inside, with 3 employees, all of them just running around different areas of the store with no real task or sense of organization. I was pretty confused and just walked out. You’re better off taking your business elsewhere, like online.

Went in to have a strap pen installed on my guitar. They did the job in ten minutes. Great

I expect this is a really great store in person, if you're local I bet it's amazing to make a stop in there and check out all the cool inventory. My experience was online, and while it wasn't horrible it certainly was not stellar. The instrument I got was 1980s model Stefan Sobell octave mandolin and it was listed as "used but it excellent condition". It's in decent shape for how old it is but none of the flaws were advertised very well, especially significant fret wear, so much that the intonation changes from front to fret and there are deep "ruts" in them from the strings, which is absolutely typical for a well played instrument from this era but it should have been made very clear to potential buyers. And also, initially this instrument was WAY overpriced. Luckily I didn't pay what they were asking (Which would have been absolutely fair for a Sobell in much better shape). I sent a significantly lower bid and once I got the instrument I was really glad I did. I would have been really upset if I'd have paid what they were initially asking and got the instrument in this condition, especially advertised as being in excellent condition. Again, it's just well played and it's fairly old. I've had many Sobells over the years of varying conditions and quality, this one's a little bit in rough. For a guitar store, I feel like this is some basic stuff they should know and do for customers. And as somebody mentioned in a review earlier the customer service was quite lacking, although not horrible but they weren't super helpful or informative and quite slow. All in all it wasn't bad, and I'm happy with this instrument but I'll have to put some money into it to make it really playable like it should be.

If I were ever in the area, I would love to check the store out in person. It sounds like exactly the kind of place I love to go in and browse around and see what's there. But I couldn't in good conscience recommend ordering anything online from them.

My son had a fun great first time at the music store & got to play alot of the instruments there which was great. He definitely wants to go back again if he hasn't already with his mom. Thank you & LORD GOD Bless you!

Love this place, they treat my grandfather’s old guitar with love and respect. I have taken it for cleaning and re-stringing and am always very happy with my service. Clay is fantastic.

I took my bass for a set up and I specifically ask to lower the strings because they were too high, at first they didn’t do a great job because there was a new guy, but the manager was able to fix that right away on the same day, and they did a great job with the set up.

As you can see from the review below, I've already recommended this store 2 years ago. I'll do it again now. I needed some work done on the Breedlove I bought from them. I needed the action of the strings raised and I wanted the saddle replaced from Tusq to Bone. I figured I'd have to set an appointment, and I'd budgeted a couple hundred dollars. Instead, the Luthier got to work on my guitar immediately, and I was only charged $50. His work was phenomenal. He might as well have handed me a brand new guitar. I can't remember this store more, or recommend their Luthier any higher. If you need work done on your guitar, this is the place to go. If you are looking for a variety of high end acoustic guitars, this is the place to go. They also carry many guitars on the low to middle range priced guitars. Great selection and great staff.

I recently bought a Bend made Breedlove there on a Sunday! I originally worked with the staff the previous Thursday, and they were fantastic. When I purchased the guitar, I worked with the owner who went out of his way to spend time with me and made sure I got everything I was looking for. I can't say enough about how great this store is, and highly recommend it.

Brought my new bass in for some diagnosing. The staff was very friendly and KNOWLEDGEABLE. I could tell my bass was in good hands as the tech was educational as he reviewed my bass and didn't try to rush me. He has a passion for what he does. They will always have my business.not to mention it's a nice environment I'd like to just bring a coffee and spend time in. Thank you!

I’ve been into Sundays so many times looking for a variety of simple items like drum heads, mic cables, 1/4 in cables, etc.they are always out. They never offer to order anything or can tell me when they are getting more. I’m done with Sundays after today unfortunately. Try Brian’s if you want anything that’s actually in stock.

I recently started taking guitar lessons and came in to upgrade from a kid's guitar I bought on Craigslist to a nicer, adult-sized guitar. I felt intimidated when I walked in, but was soon made to feel at ease. An employee named Kirk asked if I needed any help and offered to play any of the guitars I was interested in so I could hear the difference. (I felt too shy to plug in and play what little I know.) I had a lot of questions and he was very patient with me, giving me space to take my time and look around, but also making sure to check back in. Everyone at that store is super-friendly and I never felt pressured to make a purchase. I ended up getting a beautiful (used) PRS SE guitar with the case for a very nice price. I LOVE it. I went from practicing once every other day to playing multiple times a day because that guitar just calls to me! I am super grateful to have such a great local shop for all my guitar needs.

I brought in a cheapo $140 Les Paul to get new pots wired in and the rest of the guitar set up by Iain. I don't know much about guitars (I'm a newby learning), but this makes me feel like I'm playing a $1000 guitar. Having an instrument set up properly is definately keeping my interest in learning. Thanks again Iain for doing such a great job!

Don't expect their customer service to work with you, and if they do, it will definitely not be quickly and efficiently. Communication will be little to none, and you'll have to contact your credit card company to make sure you get your money back in the process. Mom and pop stores like this whom act in this fashion should be ashamed of themselves in this age of Amazon and mega-musical corporate sales conglomerates. I hope "Sunday Guitars" change their business model if they hope to survive.

Do yourself a favor and shop with Sweetwater or MusiciansFriend instead.they have their own issues, but at least their customer service is STELLAR!
