I’ve asked for the thanksgiving box for 2 years & never got any plus I’ve asked for food boxes & had at least 20 different people call me but still got nothing they asked what nationality I was & soon as I told them there tone of voice changed & I still never got any food or water from them plus I’m homeless with serious health issues & they just avoid me because I’m a different nationality

This place gives out expired, moldy and opened food in their food boxes! Way to make people that need help feel like they aren't worthy of decent food! VERY DISAPPOINTED!

"Thanks sunshine division for a food box filled with expired food that's more than 3 months expired, plus this awesome jar of expired peanut butter that was OPENED and HALF GONE. Seriously almost every food box we get, most of the food is not edible. It's so expired, or moldy.
It's terrible that they give this stuff to people that rely on food.
It's just shameful. And I have such bad anxiety when it comes to throwing food out. It's just sad that they do this to people. "

I went over to pick up some food boxes for a bunch of gentlemen that needed to canned goods and some cold food to eat during the heat and they was closed and it was early a sign on the doors and due to heat, I had a bunch of individuals that could have used that food and I didn't see no reason to be closed that early at least with no heads up at all so I had to send these individuals back to a hot room with pretty much nothing to eat at least nothing cold to eat

Its sad when you let them know that your box was not delivered and so they send you one with all this old exspired food i mean this box is bad always had good ones but not this one kinda childish of them they dont care its like we are not suppose say anything its not there food its donated food which i am sure its not all exspired emailing makes them mad what a shame specally when I WAS RIGHT

We visit the N. Thompson location almost every week to get specific items. It is really convenient and the staff are very helpful and friendly!

I needed to talk to someone there about food boxes and they responded to me right away very grateful for them and all the work they do I'm so very grateful for Portland Police

Not able to request food box on website and no one answers the phone. I'm disabled in a wheelchair so cannot come to get a box. Someone in IT needs to fix this. It's been this way for months

Like the one over by Mississippi Alabama or whatever it's called but never got to do the clothing due to the times I could only go by getting a ride! Plus now I don't have an ID wish I had to I live across the street from 1 and I'm very suspicious of them! Do not trust them at all especially if it's the Portland Police, hahaha!

The best around of it's kind! Pantry set up like shopping, use a cart and fallow color codes. Friendly help and lots of choices. Dairy, meats, cereals and fruit are some choices. Full meals toake at home. Clothing shop is wonderful and nice and clean!?

They've been extremely helpful since I've moved toSoutheastAnd since the pandemicBut I can't find out if there's any way to have them give me a cloClothes to wearse because I've lost so much weight I don't have anything to wear

Super easy to pick up a box and go. We didn't even have to wait. The line was that short.

I recieved a food box from this place and to say im disapointed in an understatement.
I'm pregnant and I have 2 toddlers. I filled out the application online. Waited and got my box. The food was expired some of the bread had mold I got mostly canned vegtables the meat had a very sour smell. And the fruit I was given was rotten. Everything except the canned food had to be thrown away.

So kind. Such an easy and non demeaning way to obtain sustenance in this quarentine environment. Thank you sunshine.

This is a great place if you're having a hard time and need food quick easy and no contact
