Super 8 by Wyndham Roseburg reviews
16The sheets were very dirty hair and looked like chunks of skin! VERY VERY GROSS Floors in hall ways were dirty also! Had to change sheets!
Location is great. Easy to find. Room is ok. The air-conditioning is working goos but smell very bad. Air from it, smells like an very old air-con. They need filter replacement or clean it up?
The building is wheelchair accessible, but the front door is not fully automatic nor there is a push button for you to open? Very unfriendly if you have issues to open the doors.
Anyway, the price you pay for is kinda unbeatable in the area.
The staff was so helpful meeting our personal needs. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple and exactly what we needed. Thank you for the extra blankets.
I haven’t even been here 10 minutes and it’s awful… there’s hair all over the counters, the shower, the towels, and the beds. The sheets also have stains and crumbs. Kinda really disgusted.
Good, but not amazing rooms, shower, towels, soap. Could use a few more outlets. The bathroom night light was nice. Free breakfast was nice (waffles and biscuits and gravy) but no fruit or yogurt. Pool was broken. Good location but nothing in walking distance.
Stayed one night with my wife and kids. Room was okay (other than a weird, musty smell). However, throughout the stay I encountered many questionable guests. While uptown, I received a semi-frantic call from the front desk asking if I was in my hotel room. When I said no and asked for details, they gave me nothing. Overall, there was a feeling of uneasiness during our short stay.
Unfortunately, I was later informed by a trusted local friend that this is where alot of homeless people are put up for the night by local missions.
Either spend more or skip Roseburg altogether.
This place is great. Very clean.employees are very respectful and helpful and very well staffed.you feel safe about leaving your car in the parking lot breakfast was good unlike other places I have stayed on this trip
This was a great place! Service, breakfast, amenities, location-all top notch! We were so happy to get in the pool and spa after a long drive.
Decent room. Good A/C.
Small pool full of lots of families.
Room needs sound proofing. Even on second floor could hear people talking in parking lot, people talking in halls, kids above us.
If have small kids would fit it. I have older teens and was not prepared to be kept up by other people's kids.
Breakfast area is in lobby
Breakfast waffles, biscuit and gravy, juice, coffee. Little disappointed no muffins or anything else if not want biscuits or waffles. Hotel felt short staffed so garbage got pilled up and tables not cleaned quickly.
Everything was just fine with this super 8 as my expectations were low and they exceeded them. Go in with low expectations and you'll be surprised too.
The service here was great! Sandy was an absolute gem had some unexpected car trouble and had to stay and wait on repairs, she made sure we were taken care of while that was being dealt with
Nice inexpensive motel that has hardwood flooring instead of carpet. Much cleaner because of that. The only problem was the lack of any form of eggs or.
The front desk lady that checked us in was very pleasant and friendly. As entering our room smelled like mildew and stale smoke for a non-smoking room, thought it was just from the humidity, turned the air on but didn’t help. Breakfast was ok wish there was a few more options for picky kiddos or kiddos with dairy allergies. Pool was warm and had it to our self. The beds were very uncomfortable and thin blankets. You get what you pay for with this hotel. It’s nice that it’s right off the freeway and close to everything.
The room was clean, hotel has an indoor pool. Staff were really nice and friendly. The bed was a little uncomfortable and it was a little noisy at night. Free hot breakfast. There weren't a ton of choices make your own waffle or biscuits and gravy. They also had juice and coffee. Overall great experience we would stay again.
Would not recommend staying here, even at the cheap price of $90.
We stayed in a dog friendly room on the first floor the floors were sticky and dirty. The beds only had a thin fleece blanket on them so we were cold all night. And the heater was so loud when running.
You could hear the people talking in the room next door, and their dog occasionally barking.
Breakfast was pretty sad, and consisted of waffles or biscuits & gravy. That's it. No fruit, no protein.
Staff was really nice, which is the only reason we don't give it one star review.
I’ve had the luxury of staying at 3 different Super 8’s this year - this one was by far the best! Room was clean and updated. The pool was actually warm (and open). They had a large variety of vending machines. Elevator, downstairs laundry room. Staff was friendly. Full breakfast still not quite up to pre-covid standards, but we got hot waffles and biscuits and gravy which is better than the pre-packaged pastries and granolas bars still being offered at other locations. A choice of fruit would have been lovely. I wish the beds were a little more comfy & dogs on the property were quieter, but those are my only real criticisms. Thanks for a great stay!
