Really can’t beat the location - the beach is a one minute walk away!

But you can do better. The motel itself: Rooms are okay, nothing notable, could use a refresh; I had hot water one morning out of three to shower, and the WiFi is unusable - I drove to Tillamook to do some work.

The hotel was great for the price.
The room was a little small, but for the 2 of us it was fine. Clean and comfortable. Bent over backwards to find extra pillows for us. Super great service.

Rooms were good size but staff was horrible. But you get what you pay for. Beds in the room were horrendous. Stiff old and outdated. Everyone who slept on them did not sleep. Fireplace was a bonus. Everything very outdated. Will not come back. Maybe if they get new mattresses. By the way I'm 40 and can almost sleep on a rock. This was SAD

Been here a long time showing some wear and tear but most importantly very clean front office were both polite and helpful.

DON'T BOOK WITH THEM. THEY COMMIT FRAUD AND THEY CURRENTLY HAVE A INQUIRY WITH THE OREGON AG FOR CONSUMER FRAUD.

Renovated rooms, clean, big and roomy. Good size kitchen and a private bedroom from the main room. Georgeous floor to ceiling ocean views with a big deck. They have a good size heated pool and ocean side grassy area with benches to have a snack. Beach is literally a quick walk from your room, its right there! I've been coming here for years and never see any other places for miles that come close to the room space, price and view of the ocean. Cable TV and internet work well. Staff are very friendly and helped us with an accomadation request. Can't wait to visit again especially because they allow our furbaby to be apart of our vacation!

Beautiful views, stayed in a suite with two bedrooms and a small kitchen. The kitchen had everything you'd need to cook most things which was very nice. And a coffee pot too. The room has a fireplace which was really cozy and lovely. Staff was fairly friendly and it was very quiet during the week days but when it got more busy you could hear folks through the walls. Not a huge deal though. The ocean front view makes up for all the small things but I will say I didn't give 5 stars because there was some minor issues with how clean the room was. There was hair in the tub and the night stand and dining table was dirty and it didn't look like everything was wiped down properly. That's nitpicking though. The beds were comfy and clean. I'd definitely stay here again anytime I want to visit Rockaway. Your minutes from all the shops and the train and tons of restaurants too. I'd recommend this spot to anyone wanting to stay in Rockaway! Just bring your own wipes to wipe down surfaces!

Sad state of affairs. I’ve been visiting this place for 20 years (off and on) and this place hasn’t been maintained at all.
The walls /ceilings are paper thin, if you’re on the first floor, forget sleeping - every time someone flushes above it’s like someone is dumping gallons of water over your head. Beach property, but no insect door screen- either enjoy the sound of the waves and let the bugs in, or shut the door and give up on beach air. Appliances are from the 70s/80s, couch is at least 30 years old, etc etc.the receptionist was constantly complaining about how bad his housekeeping team was, and that he needs to find a new job.
Buildings A, B, C have a fantastic view, but that’s the only thing going for this place.

I was pleasantly surprised by the room. Great for the price range and you can't beat the view.

The motel looked dated in some online pics, but the room we stayed in was actually quite nice. Yes, it's showing it's age in places, but the rooms are large, well kempt, and perfect for our needs.

We stayed in a hypoallergenic (non pet, no down pillows) room with kitchen and ocean view. The kitchen was oddly stocked. Three sets of dishes (?) in a room for four people, and VERY little counter space.

The balcony was great to have and quite large. There are two single person benches (one on each side of the door) that set you at a height where the railing is blocking the horizon line (pretty typical). Otherwise, it was fairly private. No screen door. The seagulls know you have food I think. Petty sure if you leave and forget to shut the door, you'll find a mess when you get back and all the food gone. I feel it's worth having the balcony though, so no complaints really.

The fireplace is actually quieter than the ones I've used in other places. The furniture and beds are mostly comfortable. I slept in the living room and had an inner spring mattress. Comfy enough to fall asleep easily, but my back hurt a little when I woke up. I'd say the 7 out of 10 bed rating is pretty accurate.

Great place to stay close to the beach. Rooms are kind of dated, but the property is nice and it’s ON the beach. Also really dog friendly. It was clean. Person at check in was really nice too. Would visit again!

Very nice, spacious rooms! I like the separate bedroom, with the privacy door. The leather couch in the living room was comfortable. There was a full bathroom and a half bath, in our room as well. There is a long ramp for mobility impaired people, to get to the first floor of the handicapped accessible units. Wonderful place to spend our vacation time!

Had a king suite. The room was clean and well maintained. Very large with a bedroom with on-suite 1/2 bath a full kitchen, dining room and living room. Ohh almost forgot a full bath. Very easy access to a beautiful sandy beach. Swimming pool was open. Kitchen had everything needed to do some lite cooking. Good view from the balcony. We will use this property again in the future.

These hidden gems are located right on the shore! You can open the back sliding door and enjoy the sound of the crashing waves all night. Doors closed and it's peaceful. There are paint touch up spots that don't match the rest of the wall, and places that definitely need touch ups, but otherwise the conditions are lovely.
