Great place for sushi and the portion sizes are great. Kids bento boxes were excellent. Their wasabi was good and not store bought horseradish. Their O-Toro sashimi was excellent and melt in your mouth. I didn’t expect much with takeout but we were pleasantly surprised…

Everything is wonderful. The food is high quality and the service is very attentive. The ambience is very nice and I love all the authentic Japanese decor.

Edit: July 2nd, 2021. I’ve lived on both coast and have eaten sushi everywhere in between. This is still the best sushi place I’ve been to.

I have been to every sushi place in Eugene and have found Sushi Pure to be absolutely delicious everytime. The chefs are always fun to talk with and the service is great.

I love the atmosphere of this sushi resturant. They always make you feel welcome. Everytime I walked into Sushi Ya or Domo I always felt out of place but you will never find that here.

If anyone is in the Eugene area and wish to eat sushi they need to come to Sushi Pure.

This is by far the best sushi place around and we have tried all of them in a 100 mile radius. The food may be a little more expensive but it is well worth it.

This place has gone steadily down hill since moving across the street from their old location at Market 5. The entire building is crusty and dusty top to bottom. Smells like a musty bar!
The sushi is nothing special and certainly not worth the price.

This place has a very long menu with the very similar rolls, they all taste the same. This place is not worth the money your going to spend. Very expensive for no reason. Not special at all.

I originally tried it just because it was close to work, but now I am a regular. Quality food (No one does tamago or unagi like these guys), fast and friendly service, reasonable prices. It definitely beats buying a $14 hamburger on your lunch break (I am still confused about how hamburgers got so expensive.) Anyway, definitely try this place. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent place for sushi! We stopped here on out way to California and we were not disappointed. Great presentation, great food and great service. Definitely recommended!

美味しくない！！むらさき色のお寿司！！まずい！Terrible! Black rice (purple) for sushi? So unappetizing! Never again! In Japan the visual is part of the eating experience and that definitely ruined it!

I loved it. I eat at sushi places all across the US. It was fabulous. The rice had a purple tint to it. The waitress said it was organic rice mixed with white which gives it the purple hue.

One of my most favorite spots for sushi and drinks! The menu is huge and the servers are pretty on top of things. Every once in awhile they are short staffed but that was during the COVID closure. Their sauces are tasty and fish is fresh. Love the calamari here! The spicy Mayo is my favorite in town. Great spot for a date, small groups.

This quiet sushi restaurant is the real deal. Nowhere in Eugene or for that matter any other city in Oregon unless you went to Portland is going to have this quality of nigiri sushi. Generous portion size at very reasonable prices. The tempura was also of very high quality. The owner or owners are obviously very meticulous and the quality speaks volumes. Can't wait to try more options next time I am in town.

Great food and drinks! The location is perfect and cozy. The sushi is easily the best in town, fresh and the best quality.

The BEST sushi in Eugene! They have amazing vegetarian and vegan options which are all delicious. The rolls are delicious, the tempura is delicious, the yakisoba is delicious. My friends and I all love this place! And they use organic greens in their salad which is so awesome.

So glad Sushi Pure is open for take out. We just grabbed a Chef's Omakase and it was filled with so much deliciousness from the sea. Very happy!

Dined in during October, and everything was fresh and delicious. We just ordered takeout and the fish was not fresh. Also, I’m allergic to shrimp, we told them, and they included a shrimp in my nigiri combo. For the price of the food at this place it was not worth it.

Sushi Not So Pure. This is the worst sushi I've ever had.my spicy tuna roll was so SALTY it was unedible.as was my inside out roll. SALTY.
Won't be coming here ever again.the decor is like pirates of the Caribbean meets Mothra.it looks like it used be Salty Sam's Steak House.this place is a JOKE.

This place is AMAZING, food is expensive but well worth the price tag. I remembered this place as a much more casual restaurant when it was inside the market, so when my partner and I walked in wearing overalls and crocs we defiantly felt out of place as we were lead downstairs to a candle lit table next to a massive salt water aquarium and an underground bar. If you want a fancy night out this is the place to go (but they wont kick you out for wearing crocs)

Great sushi spot in Eugene. Everything is fresh and delicious. They have a fabulous vegan and vegetarian menu, with more than just a plain avocado roll. The atmosphere is relaxed, yet elegant. The staff are very accommodating and knowledgable. The black rice that is served in all of the rolls and nigiri make for an even special treat.

The venue is beautiful and unique, the staff are super friendly and nice to chat with. The sushi chef is really kind if you sit at the bar. Overall good vibes and the quality of the fish is so good
