I purchased a vehicle from them about 6 months ago, and it started having engine problems. After contacting them, they offered to repair the vehicle for a significantly reduced rate, despite having no warranty with the purchase. While doing the work, they replaced several other components that were simple to do while it was torn apart.

Very generous, and they do great work as well.

I've used SVS for my Saab. It's hard to find experts who still work on them, but Vladimir and his team are the real deal. They keep you informed, update you on any findings and prices, and work with you to make sure your car is repaired correctly but more importantly safely. As some others have said, don't let the exterior concern you. Great mechanics at a great price!

This is one of those shops that has that run-down exterior appearance, their garage floor isn't pristine, and the lobby is doubled as an informal office work space with no partitions between the customers and technicians.

Make no mistake though, these folks know what they're doing. I sent my 1995 Saab 900 to them for a clutch replacement, flywheel resurfacing, and a transmission seal/bushing replacement. They beat the closest competitor estimate for only the clutch portion by hundreds of dollars, and didn't raise the price when I asked for the bushing and seal work. They even sent me photos of the finished job, which I have attached to this review.

That work was done August of 2021. The clutch still feels great, and the transmission isn't leaking at all. I would recommend this shop to anyone in need of Saab maintenance.

Had a horrible exhaust leak from my manifold. I drop off my truck on Monday night had it back the next day. They don’t overcharge you like other shops do, and actually know what they are doing

Fantastic service. Had my Volvo's exhaust header repaired and rear main seal replaced. They did it ahead of schedule, and for less than the original quote. Highly recommend them.

Hands down the best service and price I have ever received at any shop. I have had both a transmission replaced and a burnt valve replaced by Vlad. His prices allow me to keep my older, beloved cars going for a cost no one will match. The work is excellent and honest with a fast turnaround. I wouldn't hesitate to send my grandmother to him. These guys rock. I've gotten several oil changes and check ups here without issue. They are were able to find time to help me out even when they were busy. I've also called them up a couple times regarding some issues I was experiencing with my Saab. Both times they helped me diagnose over the phone and get me back on the road. Good people and mechanics!

Received the best price out of 4 other shops for a head gasket job on my Subaru Forester. Very happy with the work, will be returning for any other issues with my vehicle.
