Staff here is attentive and greet you when you enter. Small footprint, cozy seating. The Daytripper is one of my favorite Whiskey based cocktails, right amount of sweet and nice kick.

Lovely place and excellent service. When we walked in, the bartenders greeted us immediately, which is something I haven't experienced in a while in Portland. I got the impression the employees here are pros and genuinely love what they do, which was so nice to see in a city that has struggled to staff restaurants. The food was delicious, the ambiance was cozy and comfortable. Our server was kind and attentive. Wonderful place.

I liked the corner viewing from the huge windows and my friends liked their drinks - sangria and one with beet juice. Mine was too sour - tequila, campari, lemon, lime. The fries were really yummy with both ketchup and aoli. (shared fryer gf) My friends got fondue that wasn't very good - no flavor of wine and got cold rather fast. Overall I enjoyed the space - high ceilings, loads of windows. Candles on the tables would have been nice - and some folks appeared cold (one of our party was.) [It was a February night]. Of note is the entrance is through a lobby for the hotel and bathrooms are one elevator down but clean and decent.

They have Aviation gin! Very good drinks and friendly staff a great place to hang out with friends. Didn't try food. I wish I had gotten the opportunity to try more drinks and the food. What we had was fantastic. Will go back again for sure.

Our server was super nice and was very helpful. They were able to accommodate a vegan diet very easily and the food was decent. It would be nice to have items marked on the menu that can be made vegan.

A lovely bar with an excellent selection of whiskeys from all over the world. Small and satisfying menu. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. A great spot for after work gatherings or a drink and bite before or after visiting the museums or theaters nearby

We wanted to love this place but left feeling pretty meh. Came on a Friday for happy hour and food was pretty average apathetic bar food. Drinks were ok. We'll probably give this another try sometime, possibly after happy hour to see if that'll change the experience.

Glad to see this place still here post pandemic. I have not been to Portland since before COVID and Swine was always high on my list of places to go. I love that the atmosphere is casual but yet the food has an upscale taste without upscale prices. I love the deviled eggs and the fried chicken sliders and wash it all down with the cocktail appropriately named the Taylor Street. The service is always friendly and prompt. I hope they will bring back the chicken pot pie as the weather gets colder!

One of the best happy hours from 4-6: 30 pm everyday. Cocktails are delicious and menu is versatile.

Food was great and filling, whiskey list was extensive. Service was a little slow but really attentive. Would come back

They have a big selection of what they advertise, but they do NOT make the best foods, nor did they care about us at all. We ordered Tavern Chips-something that by the description seemed it would be fancy nachos. We got a piece of pork plopped in the middle of some cheese, a little bit of tomato sauce (salsa?) and a little dish of sour cream (?) with a little basket of crunchy chips. Not home made, not heated, not fancy. A bulk generic chip. It was so-so.
The service was horrible. There were four people standing around and behind the bar and they'd look around and keep chatting. We notice them helping other tables and we had to catch them as they walked by us if we wanted anything. Like the correct drink, the bill. They did not care about us AT ALL. We like to spend our money in places where it's appreciated. It won't be at this establishment, that's for sure. This place needs to get over itself in my opinion.

Favorite bar to end the night during my stay in Portland. Waitress was very nice and attentive. The barman really can help select other very good whiskeys to widen your experience and knowledge. Went back here like 6 times during

It was a great place to duck into after a soccer match with good friends. It was full but the cocktails were fun.

Love this swanky bar. Has a strong NW industrial vibe to the decor. Excellent selection of whiskey. Drinks are creative and tasty. I almost always opt for a black manhattan and the wife explores the creative options. We learned that the menu had changed since our last visit and there is a talented new chef. In this review I am including a pic of the seared ahi tuna. We have had this appetizer at several different places as it is one of our favorites. What we really appreciated this time was the exceptionally delicate sear, and the complete absence of the typical wasabi paste. Not that we dont appreciate real wasabi! It had a perfect ballance of miso/soy flavor with the accompaniment of toasted sesame. The microgreens are actually a tender and delicate pea. Along with thin slices of zuchini and fresh ginger it made fresh and lively "salad" next to the potent and savory tuna. We will definitely be back.

An absolutely stunning selection of whiskeys and rip notch servers! And the single best bartender in the whole city!
