Swiss Hibiscus, Portland OR

Once again, everything was awesome. From fresh bread to chicken dish I cant pronounce.even the side of coleslaw was great. Don't know what is used to gain the flavor. I found the portions to be more than ample.
We ordered at 4 45.2 full dinners were ready at 5.to go Along with all the other orders.so filling.thought I'd save half for the next day.
Kid tried a bite and ate the other half.reporting that it was #delicious.

This a great little restaurant serving generous portions of delicious Swiss food. We have been there several times, both dining in and most recently via takeout. When dining in the staff is friendly and attentive; when taking out everything tastes just as awesome as when eating in. I highly recommend everyone try this restaurant.

My family and I, along with friends and family from out of town have dined here, OFTEN! Growing up, I hated the Goulash that my Mom made, so it surprised everyone when I ordered it. Oh my! The most tender pork, and delectable sauce and garlicky spaetzle are to die for. On every occasion I'm tempted to lick my plate clean =)

They are renowned for their home made Italian salad dressing that they serve with warmed loaves of French bread, mmmmm, mmmm, mmmm!

They also serve tall boys of Radlers that help top off a delicious meal.

My brother-in-law from Arizona almost cancelled his return flight home so that he could go back the next day, but they are closed on Monday's, so away they went.

My wife and mother-in-law and I all three got different entrees, and each sauce was different, yet all very tasty too!

Its a small little restaurant that does have some patio seating as well.

They can accommodate larger parties up to around 12 people by calling ahead.

I was hoping that they were open tonight, but alas, it is Monday.

The food was absolutely phenomenal! The staff is superb! They are extremely polite and knowledgeable of the menu. Can't wait to go again.

Very good Swiss food. Seating for 20 to 24 people. Not going to find better so go. Quiet, prompt service, very good food better than i found in Switzerland.

By far my favorite restaurant in Portland. We live in the Seattle area and visit Swiss Hibiscus every time we are in town. Great food and great service!

A lovely restaurant with incredibly kind hosts. The food is excellent with great vegetarian and vegan options.

This is one of the best restaurants in town, hands down. We went here because of the food reviews and keep coming back for the food and amazing service we always receive. Cozy restaurant, authentic dishes and awesome service? Can't get much better than that! If you want to ensure you'll get seated, make reservations ahead of time.

For us, it is always a treat to eat at Swiss Hibiscus.

The food is delicious and the service is friendly. My favorite dessert here is the eis kaffe. Although, if they have chocolate mousse as a special, get that!

A quaint (code word for small) neighborhood restaurant that has terrific food and very friendly wait staff. Love it's background story of daughter following in dad and mom's footsteps as a restaurateur. Definitely need to make reservations, especially on weekends as the establishment is small and popular with an established clientele. Parking is a challenge. I found the prices reasonable and the food quality very good. Loved my wienerschnizel.

Swiss Hibiscus is a small, family-owned restaurant with excellent food and wonderful service. Definitely make a reservation as seating is limited. The staff is very friendly. The food is amazing and the specials are usually as tasty as they are creative.

As someone wgo us Swiss i can say that this resrurants has very excellent, authentic Swiss food!

The food was delicious and the price very reasonable. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. They overheard that it was my birthday and brought out a big cookie with whipped cream and candle. There is a very nice quiet patio area in front of the restaurant.

The special scallops and spatzel were perfectly fine. The scallops flavor and tenderness are perfect. The Schnitzel was tender, the cashier's added a zing and the hashbrowns were a perfect compliment

I'd eat here once a week if I could work that out

Nice place. Small so make reservations. Food was great and service friendly. We had a wonderful date night.

The Service was great but I brought my grandkids and they really didn’t like the food Options for the kid menu for little kids for ages 4-6 unless they like food out of there Comfort zones.

Excellent atmosphere, food and service. The passion of the employees and owner to make people happy is VERY apparent.
