Taqueria La Mestiza, Portland OR

This is the sort of Mexican food I've been craving since leaving Arizona. The panuchos and sopes are amazing.

This restaurant offers more than the standard fare of generic burritos and tacos. I'm not an expert on Mexican cuisine, but I believe dishes like cochinita pibil and panuchos are local specialties from a specific region. My guess is the Yucatan Peninsula. This is a good place to go out on a limb and try something new on the menu.

Not only is the food here amazing, and the staff really helpful, but its the perfect distance from Rocky Buttw. So you can get your food to go and have a lovely picnic with a view. Definitely recommend the carnitas! The meat is tender and juicy, they always cook it just right!

Great place to enjoy some delicious mexican food. The portions are large, the ingredients are always fresh, of high quality and the service is excellent. The place is clean, well kept and the atmosphere very pleasant.

Hidden gem in ne Portland. Some of the best mexican food in the city. The steak fajita burrito was huge and delicious.

Was in town for the day and gave this place a shot based on the good reviews I saw but was very dissapointed. Food was extremely bland, and portions were small for the price. Gnats were also flying all around us while we tried to eat which concerned me about the cleanliness of the place.

My comfort food and go-to restaurant in Portland. Try the steak fajita or chorizo burrito and the Empanadas. The price is more more than fair for the quality and quantity. Also, the salsa is the best I've ever had!

I just finished my meal from this place. I haven't been in a year because I thought the food was a little pricey for the portion and the flavor was a little lacking. But this time the food was very flavorful, and a very big portion. The Asada was absolutely perfect. Thank you!

Excellent food, at very reasonable prices. The ambiance isn't anything to write home about, but the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Food is really good and price is affordable and staff is friendly. I love going here to eat panuchos and salbutes. I recently tried the empanadas and they were really good too.
