Taqueria Villanueva reviews
15One of the best breakfast burritos you will find in Portland. Extremely fast service and amazing food. Definitely worth a trip to downtown for this burrito.
The food was absolutely delicious and hands down some of the best tacos I’ve had that aren’t made at home! I’d definitely eat here again as well as recommended it to anyone in Portland. While visiting Portland My boyfriend and I had food delivered to us it showed up nice and hot as if we were eating at the restaurant it’s self and the food was just amazing definitely going to be craving these tacos until my next visit!
Just had one of the best 2.00$ tacos I've ever had. Infact this taco best out every 5$ taco I've ever tried. I don't understand how they have 4.6 starts.
Things I liked, food came out fast no problem, both salsa were good, lady at the window was nice & answered my questions. It took between 3-4 min for my food to be ready.
I ordered a steak burrito with no beans.
Meat was precooked little heavy on salt which help cutting down spice for some people.
I would have liked it bit more toasted.
I am not a big fan of lettuce in burritos, I also forgot to tell them. Lettuce made the food cold.
Over all 3.5 stars. Yes I would visit again & am sure it could be alot better.
My Experience at Taqueria Villanueva was a unsatisfying Meal. Ordered Carne asada Burrito, Burrito had no flavor. Unsatisfied. Would recommend with caution.
I'm awfully picky about my Mexican food and this is the best I've found in the neighborhood
I ordered the chicken fajitas platter, it was delicious. It's a lot of food for only $8.50
I didn't actually get a chance to eat anything, as I ordered through DoorDash and it was never picked up, let alone delivered.
However, I am giving them 5 stars, because they went out of their way to call me, after waiting quite a while for a driver to pick up my order. They waited past their closing time, in hopes I would get my order. Any other time I've had a similar issue, with other restaurants, my order gets canceled very suddenly. I so appreciate their customer service and absolutely look forward to trying their food very soon!
Hands down the best Mexican food cart in Portland. Owners are awesome and always friendly!
Definitely recommend it.
The food here is always so delicious! Their tacos are the best in town not to mention the owners are really nice! No long waits either, most we've waited for our food is like 10 minutes and that's with a couple people in front of us. You need to GO here now, you will not be disappointed I promise! My favorite is the chicken sopes and the carne asada tacos. They put so many toppings and their salsas are really good! I recommend the green salsa if you're not into spicy and the red salsa if you like something a bit more spicy! My husband and I have been going here for the past 2 years and we are always satisfied! 10/10! Support your local small businesses!
Best breakfast burrito! We were going to go to Kingsland Kitchen but thankfully they had a 35 min wait for 2 which led us to walk quickly away from the hipster and yuppy filled over priced kitchen to this incredible taqueria! Burrito was chock full of goodness! We will definitely be back!
Quick, delicious, and worth the $$$. Owners are very nice as well. Their carne asada tacos are my fave!
Best tacos I've ever tried in portland their green salsa is super flavorful and downright amazing and their red salsas very good for when you crave that extra kick! 10/10 only place I buy Mexican food at now.
Visiting Portland from out of state. After leaving the Entertainment District at 2am stopped at Tacos la Piedrita and it was garbage, I ended up giving my tacos and half eaten burrito to someone walking and then stopped here at Villanueva and everything about it was good. The enchiladas are awesome. Tacos are good as well and burritos are delicious and actually have beans, pico de Gallo and guacamole where the La piedrita didn’t. I will definitely be coming back when I visit Portland again.
