16Best Indian food we have had in Oregon. The restaurant is beautiful and clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing! Wife had the butter chicken and I had the chicken biryani. Papadam was so good we had already eaten a few bites before the picture was taken. Mild spice level was good for my wife (not a spicy food fan) and my medium spice was the perfect level.
This place is my new favorite spot in McMinnville. The food is delicious, the service is wonderful, and the environment is very beautiful and well kept. The food is so flavorful and spicy exactly how I like it, 10/10
Ordered takeout. Lovely lamb and good paneer, but it was the same tomato sauce as the butter chicken. Not so much paneer and chicken with a lot of sauce. Please please make sure your Naan is cooked through. I was so very sad that it was not fired well. For me, even the garlic was lacking. We will absolutely try some of the other dishes and hope that the Naan will improve.
The food was all delicious! We are so happy to have good Indian here, and so many east options for all dietary preferences. We enjoyed the garlic naan, veg samosas, veg biryani, veg korma, lamb tikka masala and some cocktails, and would recommend all of it! We look forward to going back and trying all of the dishes!
Little loud. Service is great. Food is great. Not the best Naan but it was loaded with garlic that made up for it.
I stopped by on Halloween night to try out food there.they help me quickly with my order there employees were nice
Overall food was great hopefully they start doing deliveries soon.
Checking out the fabulous new Indian restaurant in McMinville where Community Plate used to be. Sad CP is gone but this food was great. Might be the best Indian food I’ve had in Oregon (being a Brit). We got Popadums, Chicken pakora, Lamb tikka massala, Palak paneer, Garlic naan and a wonderful bottle of Indian Cabernet shiraz. All super reasonable. Great staff too. For a Wednesday night this place was hopping!
Ps. Don’t order spicy if you don’t like hot buffalo sauce (or even extra hot) - it has a great kick - but they have three spice levels.
This food and service is just wonderful! I have taken my family there and gotten it for pick up. I'm so satisfied with everything we have gotten. We usually get the butter chicken, chicken tiki masala and the garlic naan.
The food was very flavorful, the staff was friendly, and the service was quick even though the restaurant was busy. We got the chicken tukka masala and the aloo gobi with garlic naan. Each dish had a unique flavor, with the right balance of sweet and savory. Even our leftovers we brought home and reheated later were delicious. We will definitely be back!
Amazing authentic Indian food. Was very busy, but worth the wait. Chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi and veggie samosas. Everything was delicious. Would come back to Mcminville just to eat here.
Very friendly and attentive staff. The food is really tasty and delicious. We look forward to going back. The banga bharta has a great flavor.
First time visiting this spot and we were throughly impressed. Everything we had was spot on. Service was outstanding. Food was authentic and exactly what we were looking for. Our girls really enjoyed the Tandoori Chicken Skewer and are already asking to go back. Order is hot for spice level for those looking for that face melting spice that I enjoy so much. We will be regulars here for sure. Get there right at opening if coming on a Friday. By 5: 30pm there was a line out the door. Take out seems like a viable option as there was a steady stream of paper bags leaving the kitchen. So happy to have this place in town! Next time I’ll remember phone eats first, was so excited totally forgot to snap some photos.
We had both goat and lamb dishes, excellent flavors. The lamb was a bit more mild that the goat. This is a definite must return to try other dishes. If you are concerned with how spicy the dishes might be order a side of mango chutney, it will mellow even the most spicy dishes. Many dishes come with a yogurt side that mellows spices, the mango is just an extra to smooth out flavors for those that are not use to diverse spices.
GREAT PLACE!
This was an incredible find in McMinnville! Amazing food - the flavors just transport you - I didn’t think I ever had to travel to India but now…the men there work so hard and there is great service.
The food was totally fine, far from really good, but totally fine. Too spicy for the quality of flavor-again i had no problem with handlying the spiciness but it was really the only thing interesting about the food. Overall i would give the food a 3.0/5.0. Much better Indian food not too far from here.
Anyone thinking this is an extraordinary example of Indian food should really seek out some better examples-but the food was okay-totally fine.
