Tasty Kate's reviews
16Had a great local tuna on fresh made mutigrain cresent/roll, my fav is the artichoke puffs! Always great pastries but need to come early!
Stopped in before heading to the prehistoric park, the Chai was crazy delicious and the croissants we flakey and flavorful! My first stop in Port Orford forever!
We were delighted to find this gem on our coastal drive north. The pastries are excellent! I would have taken one of everything! A wonderful highlight, worth the stop!
Menu online stated they had bagels. Went in, was told they haven't had bagels for years. Before I could order something else, she just walked away from counter. How rude. Update your online menu!
Not only is Port Orford an awesome little town, Tasty Kate's is truly a gem. Delicious treats and unbelievably friendly service.
This place is so cool. The food is so good, the service is brilliant, and the whole aesthetic and vibe is amazing.
How delicious is this little gem? Katie makes her own food items and they are perfect. I had the veggie breakfast burrito and a cubano latte and not only did she know what and how to make it but it was sublime. I also had to try her pastries. The mixed berry pastry as well as the margharita pizza pastry! Delicious!
She she didn't feed me open anymore mostly but when she is the best case you can't
I was so excited to check this place out. I got up early to walk here and when I arrived there was a chalkboard sign simply saying "sold out. " I was so bummed, as it looks like a cool place
Excellent almond milk latte and we absolutely loved the pastries! Great stop when in Port Orford.
Kate has the best London Fog on this side of the planet. Her desserts are the best in the world. The decor is so inviting. A must do while traveling to this city.
Ordered a birthday cake that was suppose to have raspberry filling ended up with a disgusting lemon curd. Ordered cream cheese frosting ended up with something that may of been a mix of powdered sugar and water. And a cake so dry that a even drinking a gallon of milk wouldn't fix. Needless to say we had a cake thrown in the garbage and the person who thought they were doing something special in tears.
Eclectic place, she works very hard on her baking, great palate for savory bakes, I found her sweet bake too sweet for my taste. Her chai Latte is off the charts sweet but I realize most people's taste buds crave that. Would be helpful if she put ID cards on her bake goods for easier identification.
We stopped at this place during a road trip, and it was quite interesting. The inside of the store is very eerie and is filled with various objects. It really reminded me of a place where there are regular cult meeting. Baked products we bought, though, were tasty and it was a great experience. Apple pies are especially delicious.
Wow-best cream puff ever eaten by man or beast. Don't pass this little bakery up, get 2 of everything. But, try to save me a cream puff. Scary good!
Tasty Kate's. I originally gave a one star due to visiting during normal hours and finding it closed. I was explained my the owner that they were preparing a community thanksgiving meal! Great work! Just a helpful sign would have been great! Thanks for helping out neighbors!
