Ted's Tool Shed reviews
20Very friendly staff. Sold tools and was given a fair price (More than I would've expected if sold on offer up or craigslist). They got me in and out within 10-15 mins, despite having several customers in the store. Returned for a second time and had an equally great experience. Will definitely continue to buy and sell tools here.
Tell every mechanic that if they loose tools, this is the best place to find your replacement. And prices are cheaper here then anywhere.
This shop has a combination of new & used tools. It’s not a large store so don’t be surprised if they don’t have exactly what you need or many choice options. Great place to poke around, you never know what you’ll find in this random tool store!
So came here for the first time expecting major discounts for old beat up tools, these guys are nice enough, but i made the mistake of not spending more time price checking items and realized later i ended up overpaying by about 20% versus Harbor Freights similar unused items.
Bottom line, youre not saving any money here, and they really emphasize NO RETURNS, which translates to zero liability sales. That said, the guys are polite and helpful, as opposed to the bigger stores, so i guess thats where the extra money goes.
Looks really sketchy on the outside but do not fear! The people inside are super friendly and you can't beat the prices.
I went here to buy a Pulaski and they only had one left that was in really rough shape. The head was pitted pretty good, and the cutting edge needed heavy reshaping. It was also needed a new handle. It was marked for $20 and a new handle for $12.50. A brand new one that is the same quality runs $43. So I asked if they would make a deal and the guy refused to budge off of his price. I had high hopes of this place being somewhere I would go often, but I will not be returning here. Too bad we couldn't make a deal.
What a cool little shop with everything tool you could need/want. Plus Ted is one of the original attendees at The Last Supper.
Definitely one of my favorite places to go. I always find so many things to help with projects i have going on.
Like a Rebuilding Center or Powell's of tools, Ted's Tool Shed has a little bit of everything. From hand axes to gloves, drill bits to bench vices, they've got the works.
The inventory is well organized. The tools are in good condition for used tools.
The folks there are jovial, knowledgeable, and ready to help you find what you're looking for.
They close promptly, so be sure to get there with plenty of time to browse.
The owner is good at keeping the shop full of the tools you need at a price that will keep you coming back. Friendly service everytime!
Ted's is a great place to go for some good prices on great tools. They carry a bunch of great used power tools, so you gotta come by every now and then to see what they got
Great selection, great prices, and very nice people. Can't go wrong!
I got a grass whip, a hand saw, some long handled clippers and a garden claw tool. I found what I need right away, then wandered around just to see what else they had. I will definitely return for anything I may need in the future, as well as recommend to anyone I know who may need some tools.
So, you don't want to pay $47 for a pair of vice grips. Pick them up used for next to nothing here. They got yard tools, welding tools, Automotive tools, and all kind of crazy tools. Cash only. Down to earth honest good-neighbor type folks.
Great place to find used (and some new) equipment at a good price. The staff is always helpful and friendly!
Do your due diligence on the prices but there are some good deals to be had. I'd say this place is good for hand tools and would exercise a bit more caution when buying power tools.
If you need almost any tool he has it, at a used price. I even foundation steering wheel puller.hard to believe. I will be going back
Got my son a rake gloves hedge clippers and a weed remover tool total 50.00 kinda pricey but staff was nice
Great place got lots of stuff. Owner and staff was very helpful. If it's not there you don't need it. If you plan on going plan on spending an hour or two looking around at all the things they have.
Don't waste your trying trying to sell anything at this location this guy is beyond ridiculous lowball
This place has gone down hill since the new guy took over. They used to pay competitive prices with pawn shops and have a better selection of tools. I used to be able to find anything here. Now? Not so much. When the guy told me to watch my mouth after I said damn.well, if you think knowing Jesus means you talk a certain way.the Bible says those who think they know do not know as they ought to know. It says lean not on your own understanding. I'm a Bible thumper and a contractor. Why tell people not to use certain words? When the Bible says it is to the glory of men not to take offense.
