Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle (十秒到云南过桥米线) reviews
16I first went to this restaurant when it opened and I’ve been back since then. Though it would seem like it doesn’t get as busy as opening week, the food is good. Service is really quick after you order (unfortunately it isn’t 10 seconds but it’s pretty quick). The broth is good, being able to add in the extra ingredients and toppings is pretty neat. The portion is enough for you to walk away with a food baby. The only thing I don’t care for is the chicken wing that comes with the noodles. It is the most boring and plain chicken wing, I’m not entirely sure why it’s even included. I would recommend getting a side of sliced beef with your noodles if you like beef. They use good quality beef.
We ordered the sour pickled pepper soup base with fish and the spicy soup (mala) base with brisket. Popcorn chicken was crisp and the mala dry rub (dust) on the side was a total home run imo.
Soups were tasty and proteins were well prepared. I’ll be craving this all winter long.
I had been avoiding this place due to reviews saying that there were long lines but my family of 4 went here on a Sunday evening (6pm) and it was only half full so we were seated immediately. Server was friendly and helpful. I didn’t even know I was supposed to order using the table QR code because she just took our order as we asked her questions. Food came out within a couple of minutes of ordering
Both the pork and spicy broths are good and flavorful. Spicy broth is not that spicy. Pork chop that came with the soup was good but wished they had cut the pieces smaller. Beef brisket was a family favorite but we wished there was more meat and less tendon. Chicken wings were crispy and good flavor. Gyoza were meaty but pretty basic. The cucumbers were not my favorite because of the soy sauce base (I prefer it like din tai fung’s). The mango pomelo sago drinks was very good and not too sweet, but pricey. Still recommend it though
Overall, it was tasty and we will try it again.
Was so good!
I had the spicy brisket soup, and my girlfriend had the tomato brisket one. Would definitely go back.
Service was great too. The server was helping us too on how to eat everything and what order to eat it in. We’ll definitely come back!
So the first time I came here with (Chinese and Taiwanese American) friends, I didn't like my soup at all.
Previously we'd eaten at Qiao Noodle House in NE Portland and I liked their soups and sides.
On repeat visits I stuck to the tea, side dish, and bubble waffle menu at 10 Seconds.
Turns out I just needed to try the right soup. Tonight I had the sweet and sour (golden) base and thoroughly enjoyed my noodle dish.
Service is minimal here due to the nature of the food being presented but the space is bright and would feel very welcoming on a chilly winter evening.
I got the seafood rice noodle dish. It was flavorful and a good amount of seafood. Only thing is I asked for it to be spicy it wasn't really. Seafood was fresh and not fishy taste. It's hard to find places in Beaverton with good seafood dishes. I am glad I sent in to order Togo. It was by a whim I was shopping at Trader joes. Now that the weather is getting cooler I'd like to try a noodle soup.
Very nice! Great broth, full of flavor. Ingredients are very fresh and fish tender. Food comes out almost instantly. I thought this is way better than any pho!
Flavor was top notch, but when you add the toppings and noodles to your soup it immediately cools down. It would taste a lot better if the soup stayed hot.
Truly a unique and tasty spot that reminds me of food back in China. The bowls of soup are perfect for cold, fall day in the PNW.
Excellent broth and flavors. Too busy sometimes and the bowl wasn't boiling coming out so it didn't cook all the meats we ordered but they heated them back up after we asked them to
Just know brisket is cooked different in different parts of the world. I wold have preferred the thin sliced raw beef. Lessons learned.
The food here is so good, the broth is fantastic and they have a lot of nice fresh ingredient options to choose from that cook beautifully in the soup. Every time I come here, I end up super satisfied and full, brings me some happiness for the entire day. Service is always pretty nice here too. Sadly, the atmosphere is not the best because the other customers can get annoyingly loud and sit too close to you even when there are a lot of available places to sit. However, it's all worth the noodle experience.
Friendly staff and fast service. Food is tasty and interesting to try. Love their bubble tea!
Visited about 2 weeks ago. Service was quick and friendly and food was delicious. The noodles were definitely the highlight!
Great service. Delicious soup noodles. Nice ambiance. Its amazing to find this in Beaverton and I love it. Can't wait to try the other items on the menu.
On our inaugural visit to the restaurant, we received a warm greeting from the staff and were informed that we could choose any available seat. They presented us with a menu showcasing various food options, complete with pictures and instructions on how to enjoy the noodles. To place our order, we simply scanned a QR Code and submitted it online.
Our food arrived promptly, and we had ordered the Original Crossing Crossing Bridge Rice Noodle and the Beef Brisket & Tomato Rice Noodle soup. The instructions guided us to first add the meat and lettuce, followed by the other toppings, and then wait for a brief "ten seconds" before digging in.
Our order consisted of:
- Original Crossing Crossing Bridge Rice Noodle: The broth was exceptionally delightful, bursting with flavor while maintaining a light and enjoyable quality.
- Beef Brisket & Tomato Rice Noodle soup: The tomato-based soup was a perfect balance of sweetness and savory notes, creating a satisfying combination.
Overall, we were extremely pleased with our chosen dishes and anticipate returning for another visit.
