Tèo Bun Bo Hue reviews
16Solid and reliable beef pho and bbh. Mo bells or whistles, perfect quick bite, always friendly service.
Great place to eat.
They only three dishes which are their signature: beef pho, chicken pho and spicy beef stew noodle.
Tried their spicy beef stew noodle and totally satisfied.
Service are fast and friendly.
Interior decoration are pleasant.
Minus a star for a nasty men restroom.
Don’t go the restroom before eating, you may lose your appetite)
Hidden gem for AMAZING chicken pho. They literally have only like 3 different pho items. That is because they truly make it good. I have tried many pho places in portland, this is my go to for chicken pho.
Please consider adding an option of small bowl for dine-in. Current serving is big and it’s not as good when take out the leftovers. I have never finished a bowl even though it tastes so good and don’t want to waste food
Great and quick, the BBH was great, definitely recommend adding the spice they bring on the side.
We got the bun bo hue and it tasted great overall, plenty of meat! Biggest downside was it being more expensive than we expected ($18).
No physical menu in the restaurant so we didn’t know the price. Came here based on a friend’s recommendation. I think they only have three items: chicken pho, beef pho, and bun bo hue.
Hot tea was provided on a chilly Saturday evening so that was nice!
Had the beef pho… it was good! Place is clean and server was very helpful. Love how they served me complimentary jasmine tea when first seated.
The noodles were SO delicious. They only have three items, beef pho, chicken pho, and bun bo hue (spicy beef) but they are done to perfection. Flavorful, rich, and perfect for a cold day. Service was great and the atmosphere was fun.
Nicely decorated Vietnamese restaurant in a small plaza. Very clean with friendly staff. Read other reviews before coming in so knowing they have only 4 items. It’s about $17 for the bun bo hue and beef pho each, on the expensive side but you get the quality for sure.
Best I’ve ever had in 40 years of enjoying this soup. Varied meats, fresh veggie garnishes… devious and authentic! Iced jasmine tea a lovely companion. Great, efficient service.
They have been raising the price constantly. It was $15.50 and now $18.00, I don’t think it’s worth it, they just take the situation to raise the price. We need to stop supporting so they know customers are god. From 15.50 to $18 that very close to 20% increased. Do our wages increase that much? And once price goes up, it never comes down. I’m not coming there anymore.
We were surprised at $18 for a bowl of Bun Bo Hue. Online price shows $12.50, actual menu shows $15.50 but they charge $18/bowl. Even more expensive than any other places around the area and in Seattle. We all understand that the supply cost went up a little bit but taking advantage of supply increasing may cause losing customers and will end up out of business. Be consider reasonable price with more customers OR high price with few customers.
When the atmosphere, decor, and food reminds your MIL of home, that's a really good start to the visit. A small menu with a hyper specialty of vietnamese cuisine.
The price has been going up crazily recently: They never give you any menu with the price listed. Going up to $18 for a very short time, while the quality is going down. So insane and ridiculous overpriced, feeling like they are scamming you there!
We got bun bo hue, both spicy and non-spicy versions! Even with a low spice tolerance, the spicy bun bo hue didn’t taste spicy at all! Everything tasted good and everyone there was super welcoming with a beautiful interior.
Visited this gem to get some legit bun Bo hue, but maybe my expectation was too high so the bun bo hue didn’t really surprise me. However the portion is really good, with a lot of? But my friend said the pho bo is great, maybe I will try that next time.
