The Breadboard Restaurant reviews
21 I stopped here for a quick lunch to take home, I was greeted by friendly staff, they were very accommodating when I forgot to ask for something on my sandwich. The iced tea is very good! The Ruben is the best Ruben I’ve ever had, the bread was amazing, I’ve never had rye bread that shocked me with how good it is, normally I love rye bread but this one is above love it’s the best bread ever.
The sauces on my sandwich were unbelievable, I couldn’t stop eating this sandwich, I’ll be back for so many more. My husband has the French dip on sourdough because they were out of the roll, it looked very tasty and he said it was delicious. I love that they gave us pickles on the side and that it wasn’t a sweet pickle (gross). They were very clean and wore masks and kept distance which I appreciate because I’m pregnant and because of the pandemic. This has definitely turned out to be my favorite sandwich place and I’m very picky: p
One of the best spots in Ashland for Breakfast! The service was good, and the food was great! I had the breakfast burrito while my date had the small Mountain Man. Both of the dishes were fantastic and we will definitely be back again!
Excellent food and great views, great place to come on your visit to Ashland part of the local community tradition.
Beautiful view of the valley from their parking lot. The interior is quirky and charming. Excellent, fast service, friendly staff. Had the hearty potato soup with hot pastrami sandwich. Delicious!
Cozy small slice of a classic American breakfast and lunch cafe. Accommodating menu for most diets. Very friendly staff, with full service coffee bar serving local varietals. Food was ok, but on the oily side for my taste.
Kerri was my server and pampered me with refills of my coffee and attentive service! The breakfast was delicious, the pancakes fluffy and the homemade marionberry jam was mouth-watering! I got the "Full House Special of the Day" and for some reason I thought it would be cheaper than the "Regular Full House", but it was like $3 more - a total of $15.
This was our 1st time to Ashland and we were so glad to visit The Breadboard! The staff is so friendly and make you feel like family. My wife, Crazy haze the frenchie and I will be back
Even though they were very busy there was still great, attentive, and friendly service. And I was very pleasantly surprised by how inexpensive such a popular and high quality place it is!
We didn't care for the biscuits and gravy, and our server seemed less than thrilled to be there helping us.
It was a nice little diner with friendly and very attentive waitresses. I think they cheion me about five times in 30 minutes. Not amazingly beautiful but cozy enough. Good food, loved the sour dough toast.
I had the Greek omelette for breakfast. Everything was tasty, the omelette was full of delicious ingredients. The service was friendly to the point I felt like family.
Staff was not overly friendly or accommodating with orders. Placed an order to split, sitting at a small table and they bring it to where you have to split it yourself at the table.
Located in Ashland, the Breadboard on N. Main is THE place in Ashland for fresh, unique, delicious breakfasts and lunches. The coffee is specially blended in a local coffee company and is exceptional. Definitely try their biscuits and gravy.
Well the soup wasn't very warm, the sandwiches were skimpy but tasty. The BLT was mostly turkey, not much bacon, lettuce or tomato.
I really like the breakfast gravy here. I would say for my money the breakfast gravy is the best in Rogie Valley. So many other places serve gravy that tastes like it came from a can or powdered mix but here it always tastes fresh. The Mountain Man always hits the spot when I'm craving something salty and savory.
My first visit I was so excited. It was thriving with customers. Not a seat in the house. I thought it was going to be great. I was greeted by a lovely lady who made me a latte and then I was seated fairly quickly at the service counter bar. That is where the trouble began. My male server, that I think was the owner was rude, unfriendly and put out to be helping me. I ordered a breakfast burrito with potatoes. The food arrived and the potatoes were literally raw. Hard red potatoes. I asked if he could send them back and get them well done. He said "no, it will take too long. You can have something else". I didn't want anything else. I wanted potatoes. I was there for breakfast. He refused to take them back and I had to insist on a credit for the potatoes because I didn't want fruit or tomatoes. He grudgingly took them off the bill. The burrito was OK. The salsa was awful. I finished my breakfast and left. No friendly service accept the woman who made my coffee. I gave them another try because everyone can have an off day. Same thing, same guy, same attitude. This time I ordered my potatoes well done when I ordered my breakfast. Guess what! They were the same. Won't go back. It looks quaint and should be terrific, but my experience was terrible and the food wasn't that great!
Excellent food. Lovely outdoor seating. We were a party of 12 and all the food came pretty close together. Will diffently be back.
Drinks came wrong. Ketchup was too full and it exploded all over myself and my food & Not the server or the girl bussing tables was concerned about it. Muffin was whole grain with no blueberries inside it, only on top. Honestly 3 stars is too nice (only giving that many because the woman greeting us in and out was extremely genuine & nice) this experience was barely mediocre.
I loved and enjoyed the food and my server. I absolutely disliked the attitude and inappropriate language that the employee (keri) had towards one of the other employees. It put me at unease and was not ok to have witnessed that behavior.
First time here from San Jose, CA! Very good home cooked food! Highly recommended by my loan agent at Keybank! Thank you!
