The Cast Iron Skillet Food Cart, Sandy OR

Stopped by to get my skis waxed next-door, and when I asked the gal for recommendation, she instantly suggested that I eat at the Cast Iron Skillet. Grabbed a Reuben and tomato soup. Absolutely amazing and it was the perfect dinner after being on the mountain. Awesome people, and awesome food!

Yum and yay for breakfast offerings! Had a delicious fried egg, bacon, cheese, and avocado sandwich on Rye. I’d have attached a photo but I was too busy devouring it.

The salad was beautifully made and with the description of “local” I expected to get an equally good salad dressing. I have only ever tasted ranch dressing this bad once before and it was Walmart value brand. In this case I didn’t test it first and just poured on the dressing. The salad was ruined and I’m really surprised they would cut corners like this. Don’t even offer salads if you are going to go this cheap on the dressing. I can’t eat this and it’s going in the trash.

The soup is incredible, as well as the sandwiches. Super friendly guy and great customer service:)

Let me tell you he makes a MEAN sandwich. If you are craving a sandwich at all, these will 100% hit the spot. Lots of good options and some good extras if your in the mood! Highly recommended

The roast beef melt is to die for. Honestly, it's one of my top favorite foods. I'd highly recommend the house made sauerkraut.

Certified dank clam chowder and really yummy sandwiches. Very personable and friendly service. Would stop again.
