The Emery Apartments reviews
9Great location and amazing staff who provided all the support I needed for the initial tour, lease, and move-in process. The building is well built, pet friendly (the Whippet loves it here), quiet, in a superb location, and well kept (thanks to the well chosen maintenance and cleaning staff). I love the bike room, extra available storage closets, the view, and first floor restaurants and businesses. Glad to have found The Emery Apartments be and I look forward to enjoying my time here.
Best place to be living in, in my opinion. I wish I had discovered the place since the first year I came to Portland. The managers both are so friendly and super nice. I lived there for about a year and I had no complaints whatsoever. They made the move in and out super easy. You are going to feel safe and welcomed and the staff are always responsive to anything you need. I loved living there and highly recommend it!
Our kids found a rental here. Love the neighborhood easy walk to a lot of different things.
The Emery has wonderful management staff that is always welcoming, helpful, and responsive! It is a quiet living environment that is pet friendly and walkable to everything on the south waterfront! I love living here!
I enjoyed my time living at The Emery. It's a very nice, new building in a very convenient, centrally located part of town. The staff are super friendly and personable. The access to mass transit is incredible and it's a great place for walking. I had a west facing apartment and the view is so beautiful, I will miss that! The downsides I have are some of the same as others, having the parking lot across the street can be inconvenient for grocery shopping and a fitness center would be nice. The community lounge/patio is super nice though, wish I would have utilized it more. Free bike storage is a bonus. Overall a great place to live that I would recommend.
The Emery is an architecturally distinctive building located between the Tilikum Crossing and the OHSU Tram with access to the NS streetcar and MAX orange line. The community is largely young professional, with many medical workers and students from the nearby OHSU Schools and offices. The street vibe is quiet but active, with lots of pedestrian traffic between The medical offices. It is safe day or night. The apartments feature simple open floor plans with granite or wood floors. Appliances, including washer/dryer units, are newish and of a high quality. Noise levels are quiet, with no thru the ceiling footsteps or loud music. I would describe the finish level as 'very good', but not super premium. Amenities are limited but there is a nice community/tv room with an adjoining outdoor patio. Both are meticulously maintained, which is a credit to the community and management. Finally, management is friendly and very responsive to maintenance issues. Highly recommended.
I have lived in this building since it opened & the management gets better each time. Thank you for all you do. Highly recommended!
My husband and I lived at The Emery for 1 year and really enjoyed our experience. You can't beat the location on the South Waterfront or the dog friendliness! Having a German Shepherd it was difficult to find an apartment that would accept him, but the Emery did with open arms and no judgement! We only moved away because of our change in income due to COVID.
The staff are very responsive, personable, and pleasant. I love the layout and amenities of my apartment and the shops down below. Very happy to live here!
