The Gorge White House reviews
15Great place to stop, great selection of wine and ciders. You can also pick your own apples, pears, peaches, cherries as well as flowers. Also has a great gift shop with all kinds of goodies. Beautiful place to see even tasting room
Beautiful but dont go here to eat on weekends. Food takes 2 hours to come out of the food truck, and no good indication of when food might be ready besides asking every half hour. Not enough parking or seating. Stop in for a cider the views and roll out.
Had a good time picking apples and strawberries. There was beer, cider, and a little food cart we didn't touch. Ended up with 5lbs of Apples without trying hard.
This place is just awesome.great food, drinks after a hard day of picking all your fav fruits and flowers. Beautiful setting.lots of seating to relax and take it all in.ciders are great!
Beautiful farm in a gorgeous location, great unique u-pick with strawberries, pears, apples and more! Great tasting room for their cider flight.
Well organised, nice wines to sample. It was very busy hence a long wait for food, which was tasty and adequate. The flower picking is a nice idea. Somewhat overpriced by European standards but a nice day out.
Nice day nice grounds and nice folks serving. The place has so much going for it. It has accommodations for many more guests than I would have guessed. The property goes back to gardens and orchards. Food was definitely worth the wait which took just awhile because they make everything to order and everybody has an appetite that walks into the back yard. The house is just an attractive old farmhouse in fantastic condition.
Beautiful scenery and kind staff. I had a great experience here and will be coming back every time I'm in the area. The honey lavender and orange cider are some of the best I've ever had.
Gorgeous place for fruit picking! We go every year. The food truck is fantastic! Unfortunately, we brought some friends on a Sunday and they weren’t cooking so we had to find another place for brunch after the kids picked some fruit.
Beautiful, scenic farm located between mountainous regions near the gorge. People are friendly, flowers are plentiful, and berries are plush. We came in mid-August and while things were picked, you just had to work a little harder to find what you wanted. Beer, wine, cider, and food are also available. Pet friendly.
Went berry and flower picking, then we ordered the caramelized onion and pear flatbread. AMAZING. The workers were so sweet as well ️
Amazing beverages, beautiful scenery, kind and interactive staff.
Despite being abundantly busy and having plenty of customers, they did their best to he engaging and helpful.
The Honey Lavender is a 10/10 cider.
It tastes like a sparkling Lavender drink with the benefit of getting you drunk.
Great place to hang out and chill. Their cider flights were excellent and it was nice to have plenty of outdoor seating areas. Highly recommend if you plan to visit the Hood river area.
The place is gorgeous. However their prices for the fruits is very expensive. Like the cherries I was shocked 6 dollars a pound.
Such a great spot. Pick your own fruit, flowers, get some wine, beer, cider and a food truck on site. Food truck was a bit of a wait but it was worth it. Take a walk and enjoy the grounds while you wait.
