The Haul, Grants Pass OR

I went there for open mic. Fries were burnt and salty, pork nachos were tasteless. People that worked there didn't even greet us, plates were just placed in our table.

The Haul is a Grants Pass staple, worth checking out at least once. Go there for the beer/mixed drinks and stay for the atmosphere and live music. The food is nothing special.

Great space with delicious, unique pub fair and beer. They regularly have live music both in the restaurant and the bar upstairs. A great way to spend a Saturday night.

What happened to you guys? ! Used to be such a GREAT place when you first opened, now the service is awful…rude and they ignore people at the counter…and the food has become equally bad…horrible chef when we were there last. Nobody was able to eat together because the food all came out at different times, and not just a few minutes apart! You guys could be such a great place like when you first opened, I have no idea what has happened and why you’re ok with taking such a huge nosedive.

Really inconsistent quality of cooking and service. Used to really love this place. But it’s too disappointing and quite often a waste of hard earned money. Nothing worse than going in for something you know you really like and being let down. The good part about pretentious hipsters like this in most similar establishments is the fact that they deliver on their craft… not here.

Stopped by for lunch brunch after the growers market. I had the patty melt and my husband had the breakfast burrito with brisket. We also tried the Stokes Light lager. Everyone was kind and the food was amazing. Not sure why it's not packed.

Tried the place a couple of times prior to reviewing. The pizza is the most redeeming part. Atmosphere could be better. The staff mostly keeps extremely busy but the lack of table service after the initial ordering is tiresome. Waiting in the same line as food orders for a beer can be lengthy. Staff is friendly and food can take quite a long time during lunch. Most likely won't return at this point.
A few tacos, 1 small app and 2 beers was just under $50.

I've been craving falafel for so long as I was stoked to find some here. It was absolutely delicious! Great beer! Amazing food and excellent atmosphere. Happened to come during open mic night, it was awesome.

Very disappointed in the food quality.
My Falafel Sandwich, the bean patties were so over cooked I could not cut them, the mixed greens were wet & caused the bread to be soggy.
My friends Cuban Sandwich was over toasted, making it difficult to bite into.

I had heard good thing about this place before coming in, and I was not disappointed at all. The service was great and friendly, and the food did not disappoint in the slightest, everything was made from scratch and made to satisfy. It will cost you a little bit of the heftier side with some menu items being about $15, but I didn't mind the price over the quality and service. There are also plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, which is great because while I may consume meat, my girlfriend does not, so it's a really good spot for people with different tastes. All in all, if you don't mind spending a bit more on yourself or others, this is definitely a place you should check out.

Omg! Omg! The best place to stop in grants pass! Serious. Their falafel is one of the best I’ve ever eaten! And I almost chose the smashed burger which looked equally cool. Beer selection… huge! Watching their wood fire pizza making is like watching a ballet with dreadlocks (lol). Honestly. If you only are staying in grants pass one night…. Choose wisely: go here!

My favorite place in Grants Pass. The food is creative and the quality of everything is very apparent. Excellent drink selection and friendly staff.

I never leave bad reviews but the service was absolutely terrible. We had to ask someone to take our order and the lady was very rude and acted as if we were bothering her. Our food was bland. We ordered the pasta dish and it tasted like there was 0 seasoning in there. Not worth it.

Thursday's "Open Mic" was fun. Great atmosphere to share talents and tunes. The staff helped make it a pleasant experience. Oh, and the pizza was tasty too.

I came down to the beautiful city of G. P.to interview a band called "Sleep Signals" who performed at The Haul that evening.
Beautiful gastro pub.unfortunately due to food allergies I was unable to fully enjoy all they have to offer. The atmosphere and ambiance is very welcoming. The food looked great and the band was rockin'!
Overall rating this a five star pub!

Great food, great atmosphere and staff that were motivated to serve! The only draw back was the charge for ranch dressing to go with the pizza…a buck a pop. Pizza was already pricy (but excellent)

We used to love this place, they must have taken a hit after covid.
The nacho special they had was a joke, literally smaller than most appetizer nachos at other places but more expensive.
Super disappointed in our experience here, will definitely not be going back.

This restaurant has surprised me multiple times, whether through its fantastic service and atmosphere or its delicious food and drink options. The carne asada steak & egg burrito and Cuban sandwich are so full of flavor, and their bloody Mary’s are excellent. Also, a huge plus is that they are pet friendly!
