A safe place to meet with friends and fam. The bar staff are amazing and while we miss Zach (owner), the team is working like he's watching
I love it

This venue was located inside Rialto Poolroom in the downstairs. We went for a show. It was a trumpet player with a live band. We paid $20 each to get in and really enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be coming back and recommending to others.

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite Jazz venues in Portland. Have been to three shows there this year, and they have all been a load of fun. The ticket prices have been affordable and the atmosphere has a very classic feel to it.

This is the absolute worst music experience I’ve had. Except for the fact that the artist I came to see (James Hunter) was fabulous as always, everything else sucked. The “general seating” is actually a few bar tops with views obstructed by giant posts, or a room in the back completely removed from the show. The opening act was hard to listen to; his audio was so muddy that his many comments were unintelligible. Perhaps the folks in the reserved area in front of the stage could hear better, but these seats were sold only as groups of 4 or more. The venue sold way more “general tickets” than they should have, leaving a large number to stand (further obscuring other’s slice of view.) Last but not least: so much talking! Geez!
I’m not even going to mention the neighborhood. Not the fault of the venue, but don’t go there alone

My first time at the Revue, Friday July 14th 2023, Masamba Diop, a Senegalese artist and virtuoso drummer. The establishment is charming, friendly security greeted us at the door to insure our security, we came into a large open space with pool tables and bar side activities, a winding wood path led us to the downstairs bar and quaint stage area. Where we were greeted and stamped by an accommodating handsome brother. I had a wonderful time, I will be back.oh and my friend was impressed with the drinks.

Great shows. Live bands and burlesque. Great staff. The bartenders are great! Definitely recommend

Over zealous security to get into the Rialto can sour your mood, the music venue itself is good. Maybe they need training in not harassing paying customers

Great venue for Jazz and other assorted performances like their burlesque shows. Very cool cozy spot underneath the Rialto. Limited seating and a bit warm, but adds to the intimacy of the venue. A fun hidden gem date night spot downtown.

Just visited the Jack London Revue for the first time this past weekend to see Immanuel Wilkins perform. I had an amazing time and loved the atmosphere in the venue. All the staff I interacted with were friendly. The sound was great. If you don't pay extra for reserved seating, your view may be blocked by pillars. (The venue is in a basement after all), but nothing is stoping you from getting up and standing for a better view.

The only negative was the area its located in is not the best area as noted in other reviews. Lots of open drug use in the area. But you cant blame the venue for that.

Can't wait to catch another show.

I thought Jazz was dead in Portland and then I want to Jack London Revue. It's kind of a best kept PDX secret. You enter through a sports bar called Rialto Sports Bar & Pool Room and it was filled with billiards players and against the backwall is this sign that reads Jack London Revue and stairs. Then like a Speakeasy during Prohibition you go down to this secret, hushed nightclub with a cool vibe and honestly great music, food and full bar.

Support live music, local and touring artists and a vibrant Jazz Scene in downtown Portland. Uh-Mazing!

Pool tables and TV's galore on the main level. Below deck is a very nice club for events, great sounds!

Hard to rate a place based on event but went to the comedy show and it was.not worth $20. Two of the folks were kind of funny the rest were very much not.

I came here for my first burlesque show. It was very fun. The main floor is spacious and big and there is a lot to do. The burlesque was in the basement and a lot smaller but regardless it was still fun and got quite entertained from it. I would absolutely come back again!

Had an unplanned "date night" and wife picked this place for live music.the music and sound was great. Plenty of seating and loved the comfy booths!

AWESOME- friendly bartender that we loved and as music ended the burlesque show started which I wasn't aware of but added for a fun time! Great energy and definitely be back for more entertainment!
