The Laughing Clam LLC reviews
14We didn’t know where to meet up and eat a good dinner with our Niece’s family, but figured since this place advertised seafood, that it should be good. NOT! It was basically a burger and fry joint/bar with only shrimp in various ways. Not good even. Our waitress was not available and we had to get our own silverware and a take out box on our own by sneaking to the counter.
This place has a great menu. The crunchy wings, jambalaya and everything I've tried have been on point! Deff recommended
Yummy food, beer selection, awesome. Staff was very attentive to our needs & a nice spot to have food & visit with friends. The Shrimp Po boy sandwich, Oysters, burger & the Wok Salad.all were great. I had the chocolate cake for dessert.yum, all the way around!
Amazing food and a great drinks menu! The people working were very friendly and our waitress was attentive to us as patrons, despite the place being super busy. If you're looking for awesome food, atmosphere, service, and a great time out this has to be one of your stops!
I can’t believe I hadn’t got around to eating here until this week. Now I know why The Laughing Clam is usually busy. I’m very glad my Mom and her friend invited me to join them for lunch.
Lunch was perfect here on a drizzly Autumn day. The clam chowder was delicious with the perfect amount of clam served with bread. The fried fish was also delicious, moist and crispy on the outside and served with a yummy roasted garlic tarter sauce they should bottle it! Definitely will be back for the fried fish, great portion!
The biggest surprise was the crab and artichoke pizza. It had large pieces of lump crab meat and artichoke hearts. It looked wonderful (photo included) and definitely a good portion of food as well. My Mom and her friend both really enjoyed it.
We went during a slowish time, close to 2pm which was perfect for us. The ambiance is cozy, the servers are all really upbeat and helpful. It was really clean, cute and cheerful even though it was dreary outside.
Would definitely recommend for lunch with friends, a day or evening date destination and for families depending on the day and the time.
First time here after it being recommended so many times. It didn't disappoint.
The clam chowder was great, as were the stuffed lobster appetizers.
Wide choice of beverages; the pomegranate blueberry hard cider was delicious.
Parking is a little dicey just because it's so limited. But that's a small downside for such a great place.
It was very busy for a Wednesday night. Even though the place was packed and the staff were doing a good job of making sure everyone was taken care of.
Lovely dinner, excellent service, great steak, BLCT & salmon, fun atmosphere & decadent cheesecake. Highly recommend
Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Grants Pass. I always bring company from out of town to eat here. They have the best happy hour menu in town!
If you haven't had their half portion fish n chips, you are missing out! Pair it with the Sea Glass Sauvignon Blanc and you're in my happy place. I do wish the chairs outside were more comfortable. Really hits your back in the wtong place.
A good little getaway in Grants Pass. Only pan seared scallops I've found in town. Great flavor! Their salmon and other seafoods are worth going for too. I make it a regular stop
My wife and I went to try the seafood here, and it was very tasty fresh fish and the drinks were great, We will return for a nice relaxed dinner
Hours state open till 9: 00 we were there at 7: 15, they were closed. We are not local and wasted a drive and time just to be turned away.
When we are in town shopping the area, We love getting the steamer clams and sourdough bread.
