The Lodge at Eagle Crest reviews
7I was surprised by the condition of the room and the service/quality of the restaurant. For the lodge, it was expectationally clean, however, the general maintenance of the facility and our room (122) was very bad. In the room, the furniture was goodwill quality and very uncomfortable. I was shocked by the condition. I could not sit at all. The central venting and main area thermostat did not work, resulting in a terrible moldy smell. The bath toilet rocked like you were on ship every time you say down and the shower sprayed all over the floor because of no door on the back part. Also, the vent did not work. For the facility, several broken light fixtures, doors where the handles rubbed holes into the wood, scrapes all along the wall. All have a general appearance low quality and care. The restaurant was understaffed, not well cleaned, and the food mediocre. The view and river walk was a saving grace. The 1st floor Cafe has a very good breakfast and good service. Overall, I was disappointed in the lodge considering the price and hype I had heard about it. Currently, I prefer Brasada or Sunriver by far.
We reserved two rooms one of which needed to be ADA. I had my 83 yr old mother in a wheelchair and it was very difficult to not have handicapped access. No grab bars in bathroom. Front desk gave us a toilet seat riser but didn't do much good without grab bars. Shower wouldn't work because of toilet location.
Phones in room didn't work. Kitchenette sink backed up. The toilet had issues the entire stay. The maintenance guy just gave us a plunger so we would stop calling.
Since we couldn't leave my mom alone in the non ADA room, we decided to make the best of it and rented movies. Great idea until we found out the DVD player made a loud noise.
I was promised a call from the resort manager by the end of day. A week has gone by and no call from anyone. Very disappointing stay.
Very dated hotel… didn’t feel warm or welcoming at all. Decoration feels old, rooms a bit dirty, and garderner annoying at 8am
The wifi does not work and the phone was non-functional. Otherwise, the rooms are not as clean or nice as photos, but it is fine. Front desk was unable to fix the wi-fi (and I would never have stayed here knowing I couldn't work remotely from the room)
Rooms are outdated, smelled strongly of bleach. Avoid stone shower option in King suite. Scraped my toe my first night, couldn't enjoy the hot tub the second night.
Room had a gas fire place, it did not work, broken tile in shower and black smear marks on the wall. 2 tvs neither worked.
I never leave reviews but I have to say how awful this place is. Our room was absolutely disgusting, the floor looks like it was not vacuumed. There was crumbs all over the floor. We found 4 different hair balls, one was in our bed. We could not set our kid down on anything because it was so gross. Our family had a couple other rooms the same night as us and found toenails in their room. They advertise online and one their phone that there is a spa, the spa has not been open for years. The swimming pool closed earlier than advertised. It’s old and just overall not nice. I won’t be staying here ever again and I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially if you have kids staying in the room.
