The Muddy Rudder Public House reviews
12Good pizza, great drinks! The best part is the friendly bartenders/waiters. Even when they are packed, they provide the best service!
The Muddy Rudder is a cozy classic for my guy and I. The pizza is ridiculously good, the tap list is constantly updated with fresh new beers, and the folks who work here are super friendly and chill. Thanks for being around, Muddy Rudder! We appreciate you.
My wife and I ended up going here after having dinner at the local food carts. It was a nice stop on the way home for one last drink. We ended up sitting on the patio that was on Tacoma Street. So the good thing was the outdoor seating was very nice. The bad thing was the cars that zipped by were very, very noisy. It looked like everybody was getting pizza but we had already eaten but it did look very good. I think it would be good to go back and try this place for food and drink next time. Oh, and sit on the inside rather than on the outside where it's like dreadfully noisy.
Lol called 10 minutes before the kitchen closure and the bartender was so rude. I asked what pizzas they offer and she lost it. "I'm the only bartender, you have to look up what pizzas we have on our website, you have two minutes, bye. " I've managed restaurants in LA for ten years and I'm appalled at this level of customer service. Nice job Portland, this is absolutely not how it's done.
We live in NYC and couldn't believe how amazing the pizza is here the martini! The pepperoni pizza! The meatball sandwich (the sellwood)! Just wow.we love it.
Really nice local bar. Bigger inside than you might expect. Has dining tables and a bar and a back patio that you might not be aware of.
Stopped by for a quick bite to eat and drink. I got the Marseille sandwich which was really good and loved the patio. Fast friendly service. We will return.
Great place for middle aged adults to hang out and unwind. Staff was great, food (pizza) was great, beer was cold.
This place has great gin and tonics and is a good size. It is a great place to meet during inclement weather - good airflow. Usually not busy
Love the atmosphere here! No live music last night, but the acoustics of this building can make it challenging to hear real clearly. Lucky for us, we went on a pretty chill night, last night. Top notch.
Just get the stromboli and get over your excuses. Decent rotating taps and selection of whiskeys.
Waited over 30 min to not even be greeted by any of the ppl working there. Moved from inside to outside to inside to outside and asked both waitresses if we get table service, both said yes, and never came back. Horrible
